Abstract: The main purpose is to provide vehicle safety and a solution that automatically alert the driver to be cautious. In this system we continuously monitor the vehicle performance using sensors and the behavior of driver with the use of various sensors. The work presented aims at providing a cost effective solution to the design and development of an event data recorder which has been basically adopted from the aviation sector considering the need and the correlated benefits. The project presents an integrated design of the black box with the basic features of the data recorder which could be very useful for domestic vehicles and at the same time it also hosts several additional features that could assist in mitigating the number of accidents, or at bare minimum, will serve as an analysis tool to prevent future accidents by analyzing the previous accidents. The Vehicle black box receives the information from various sensors like the MEMS sensor. If the accident occurs, by using GPS the vehicle location is traced and the information is sent to saved contact through the message.by providing not only the coordinates of the accident but also the exact physical address for immediate medical attention which can save numerous lives every day. The black box also hosts several other features advanced web tracking anytime and from anywhere. Thus the overall cost is highly optimized by integrating such multiple features. With the IOT Technology, this location is always traced in the cloud platform service. If any panic problems arises then the location is automatically sent to message and also the data will upload through an IOT platform.

The domain used here is IOT. Traditional accident detection system are out dated, they require additional source to intimate to any saved contact person or to hospital about accident, And do not have cloud technology to store data, to analyse the cause of accident. To solve above problem we have implemented “Black Box for Automobiles”.In this project we focused on Providing safety to vehicle and to the person in the vehicle. MEMS sensor is used to detect the accident, MQ3 sensor is used to check the presence of alcohol,if any then it will send alerts to saved contact person using GSM,simultaneously it update data into cloud. Data in cloud is usefully to analyses the cause.

Detailed Description of the Invention:
One of the rarest and value added creation. It is most widely used commodity today, due to increasing number of population,Vehicle is used as mode of communication, for our travel, on a regular basis.
As India is now becoming digital India,Proposed system will contribute to digital India program. Existing system is used to detect accidents by using vibration. it only measures impact or intensity of vibrations, and sends alerts to saved contact as accident is occurred in so and so location.
It does not Contain alcohol Sensor and cloud to store the data for analyzing cause of the the accident. If the accident occurred in crowded areas there are source like man support, mobiles to inform about accident .If any accident is occurred in hill areas or remote areas, there won't be any kind of support to inform about accidents, hence it increases risk of life.
In order to avoid all those problems we are proposing "Black Box for Automobiles. Black Box for automobile contains Various sensors Black Like MEMS, MQ3 sensor and components like GPS & GSM.
MEMS (Micro - Electro mechanical sensor) is used to detect the accident. MEMS can sense Kind values like gyroscopic values (tilting) and accelerometric Values when ever vehicle meet with an accident. MEMS Can read this kind of data and will upload to simultaneously. MQ3 sensor is a family of gas sensor, It uses chemiresistor technology to identify alcohol presence. Threshold Value of MQ3 Sensor in our project is 150 PPM. If in case alcohol presence is beyond threshold Value, immediately it will send alert to saved contact person and simultaneously to cloud.
This system uses GPS ( Global Positioning system) to identify accident location, GSM is used to send Alert message.Since we are using using it accurately even in low network areas like hill stations and remote areas.
