Abstract: The Present Invention is a Blanking Tool. Tool has a pair of Plates, one of which supports a Punch and the other has a mating Die cavity. This is the Process by which work piece are Manufactured very rapidly from sheet metal. Its importance as a Production process may be judged from the fact that the out put of a single Press can be as high as 6000 Work piece per hours. In this Process the two Plates are resiliently joined together to permit limited reciprocal movement. One of the joined Plates has Provisions for mounting to a Punch Press.

method is used.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Blanking tools are presently used in Blanking operation the cutting of
metal between Die & Punch is a shearing process in which the metal is stressed
in there between two cutting edges to the point of fraction or beyond its ultimate
strength. The purpose of the Blanking operation to produce a Work piece the
Work piece metal cut of by the Blanking Tool from the strip of sheet metal as
scrap used as Blank of Work piece.
