Abstract: ABSTRACT “BRAKE SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE” 5 The present disclosure relates to a brake system (200) for a vehicle (100). The system (200) comprises a brake lever (20) mounted on a handle bar (114) of the vehicle (100). The brake lever (20) comprises a first pin (21) and a first hole (24a) formed at a proximal end (20a) of the brake lever (20). The first pin (21) has center axis X-X at a position offset from a pivot axis Y-Y of the brake lever (20). The handle bar (114) 10 comprises a second pin (22), such that the first pin (21) and second pin (22) are configured to mount a spring (23a). The spring (23a) provides additional torque during pivotal movement of the brake lever (20) to actuate the front wheel brake unit (31) and the rear wheel brake unit (41), simultaneously. The braking system reduces human effort required for actuating brakes of the vehicle.
