Braking Control Device

Abstract: This braking control device is provided with: a backplane; a power-supply board (64); and a braking control board. The power-supply board (64) is mounted in any one of slots in the backplane to form a power-supply circuit (34). The power-supply circuit (34) receives a supply of DC power from a control power supply via a control power-supply line (94a), and receives a supply of DC power from an emergency-braking power supply via an emergency-braking command line (92a). The power-supply circuit (34) supplies DC power to a power-supply line formed on the backplane, and in accordance with the voltage value of a DC voltage being applied to the emergency-braking command line (92a), applies DC voltage to a command line formed on the backplane. A braking control circuit formed on the braking control board, which is mounted in any one of the slots, controls a mechanical braking device, in accordance with a railway-vehicle braking command and the value of the command-line voltage.
