Brushless Motor, External Ac Voltage Source, And Electric Power Steering Device
Abstract: The present invention yields a brushless motor capable of improving the torque and output of a motor by improving the voltage utilization rate and a method for driving the brushless motor. A brushless motor provided with an armature comprising an armature core having a plurality of phases of armature windings and a field pole comprising a field pole core having a plurality of permanent magnets wherein in order to raise the primary fundamental wave peak of an applied voltage above the applied voltage peak the armature windings are subjected to an applied voltage having a primary fundamental wave of a voltage superimposed by at least a fifth order harmonic component according to a predetermined phase difference condition and an amplitude condition.
