Caliper Body Of Vehicle Disc Brake

Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE CALIPER BODY OF VEHICLE DISC BRAKE To provide a caliper body of a vehicle disc brake that can prevent a hydraulic fluid discharged through a bleeder hole during air bleeding work from running to a disc rotor via a ceiling opening portion. A groove portion (preventing portion) that prevents the hydraulic fluid discharged through the bleeder hole from running toward the ceiling opening portion of the caliper body is provided between a bleeder portion having the bleeder hole and the ceiling opening portion. The caliper body is formed by coupling a caliper half body distant from a vehicle body to a caliper half body closer to the vehicle body with divided surfaces of the caliper half bodies abutting against each other, the groove portion is provided so as to open into the caliper half body closer to the vehicle body, and a bottom surface is formed in a trapezoidal shape with an area increasing in a disc circumferential direction with distance from the disc rotor. The bottom surface is located on the inner side in a disc radial direction of an outer surface in the disc radial direction of a divided surface of the caliper half body distant from the vehicle body.
