Carboxymethyl Cellulose Based Polymer As An Organic Binder In Iron Ore Pelletization
Abstract: The present disclosure provides organic binders comprising a copolymer of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) with acrylic acid and acrylamide or acrylic acid and methacrylic acid and methods of preparing them. The present disclosure also provides pellet compositions for preparing iron ore pellets comprising bentonite and the organic binders. The present organic binders lower the amount of bentonite added to the pellet composition.
