Abstract: A cargo module with adjustable shelves 100 is disclosed. The system includes a cargo frame 102 configured to be disposed in a shipping vehicle, plurality of adjustable shelf mounts 114 configured on at least one of the cargo frame 102 for holding plurality of adjustable shelves 106 within at least one pair of the shelf mounts 114, wherein at least one locking door 104 pivoted on at least one side of the cargo frame 102, at least one hinge mechanism 108 disposed within the cargo frame 102 to allow the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 to bend in a required direction, at least one lock and hook mechanism 112 disposed within the cargo frame 102, and at least one sliding mechanism 110 disposed with the lock and hook mechanism 112 to allow the sliding of the plurality of adjustable shelves 106, in and out of the cargo frame 102. DESC:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present disclosure is generally related to cargo shelves for placing objects in a vehicle and more particularly to a cargo module with adjustable shelves for accommodating multiple sized cargoes, thereby providing foldable/unfoldable structure of plurality of adjustable shelves.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] The shelves are used to store variety of components into a cargo vehicles. This includes small or large boxes to store large amount of cargoes into the boxes. These shelves hold and preserve the goods from the time they are ordered and placed into the cargo module until they are delivered to the customer. These shelves are also known as mobile shelve because it is fitted with wheeled system.
[0003] Multiple sized shelves are used for storing goods. Effective storing of goods are required to meet the customer and cargo demand. Many types of shelves are present in the market which is used in the cargo module such as fixed shelves, floating shelves, and pull-out shelves. All these shelves are usually affixed to a cargo frame in a manner that is not changed, their height is not to be altered to accommodate larger or smaller goods. The workers take lot of manual efforts in placing multiple sized cargoes into these type of shelves. All these tasks are time consuming and have great chances of manual errors in secure placing of the ordered items.
[0004] US9764692B2 discloses a shelving unit for supporting objects in a vehicle includes one or more adjustable shelves all extending transversely and horizontally between a pair of upright side panels. A rear vertical rail extends along one edge of each of the side panels and defines a plurality of slot shaped rear apertures. A front vertical rail extends along an opposite and parallel edge of each side panel. Each adjustable shelf includes a pair of shelf sides extending parallel to and adjacent the side panels. A flange extends outwardly from each of the shelf sides with a bolt attaching the flange to a front vertical rail and applying a rearward biasing force to the adjustable shelf. A rear tab extends rearwardly from each of the shelf sides and is angled laterally inwardly to engage a rear aperture in a wedging force-fit in response to the rearward biasing force.
[0005] Conventionally, there exist various methods and systems for providing adjustable shelves in a cargo module. However, in order to achieve the objective, a foldable/unfoldable adjustable shelves are used for placing multiple sized cargo into it.
[0006] In order to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks, there is a need to provide an adjustable shelves that is an enhancement to the conventional shelving unit. These shelves are capable of accommodating the cargo of different sizes into it. Theses shelves are foldable in manner and easily moved in and out of a cargo frame. Hence reducing the time and saving a lot of manual efforts in managing the placement of multiple sized cargo.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
[0007] The principal object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantage of the prior art.
[0008] Another object of the present invention is to provide a cargo module with adjustable shelves that has the ability to fold/unfold as per the requirement of accommodating the cargo of different sizes.
[0009] Another object of the present invention is to provide a cargo module with adjustable shelves that helps in saving time and manual efforts in securing and managing the ordered goods placed in the shelves.
[0010] Another object of the present invention is to provide a cargo module with adjustable shelves that has a door for locking the shelves in order to secure the ordered goods.
[0011] Another object of the present invention is to provide a cargo module with adjustable shelves that is easily pull in and out from a cargo frame and adjusted to accommodate multiple sized cargo.
[0012] Another object of the present invention is to provide a cargo module with adjustable shelves that is ergonomic and high load capacity.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0013] The present invention relates to a cargo module with adjustable shelves that is used for storing multiple sized cargo ordered by the customers in a convenient manner. It has ability to fold/unfold, pull in and out depending on the size of the cargoes that has to be placed in plurality of adjustable shelves, thereby enhancing utilization and efficiencies associated therewith.
[0014] According to an embodiment of the present invention, a cargo module with adjustable shelves, comprising, a cargo frame that is anyone of a cargo module, a cargo housing, and a cargo box enclosure, configured to be disposed in a shipping vehicle, wherein a structure of the cargo frame is anyone of a tubular, foldable, so that the cargo frame easily fold/unfold to accommodate cargo of different sizes and the cargo frame is made up of metal, wood, fiber, metal alloy or any other like material, plurality of adjustable shelf mounts configured on at least one of the cargo frame for holding plurality of adjustable shelves within at least one pair of the shelf mounts, wherein plurality of adjustable shelf mounts is either to be permanently fixed or removably placed on the cargo frame and made up of metal, wood, fiber, metal alloy or any other like material, wherein at least one locking door that is anyone of an inner door or an outer door pivoted on at least one side of the cargo frame for locking the plurality of adjustable shelves, wherein the inner door is configured to lock the plurality of adjustable shelves in its place inside the cargo frame and the outer door may provide access to interior of the cargo frame.
[0015] According to an embodiment of the present invention, the cargo module with adjustable shelves, further comprising, at least one hinge mechanism disposed within the cargo frame to allow the plurality of adjustable shelves to bend in a required direction, at least one lock and hook mechanism disposed within the cargo frame, wherein the at least one lock mechanism configured to lock the hook onto the plurality of adjustable shelf mounts inside the cargo frame, wherein the plurality of adjustable shelves extending laterally and longitudinally in order to place the cargo of multiple sizes and the bending of the plurality of adjustable shelves in upward or downward direction may also create an enclosed cage structure, and at least one sliding mechanism disposed with the lock and hook mechanism, wherein the sliding mechanism allow the sliding of the plurality of adjustable shelves, in and out of the cargo frame.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0020] Embodiments of the present disclosure will be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings in which, like numerals represent like elements throughout the several figures, and in which example embodiments are shown. Embodiments of the claims may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein. The examples set forth herein are non-limiting examples and are merely examples among other possible examples.

Although any systems and methods similar or equivalent to those described herein can be used in the practice or testing of embodiments of the present invention, the preferred systems and methods are now described.
[0023] The present invention relates to a cargo module with adjustable shelves. This invention provides a flexibility to cargo loading staff to easily adjust and bend plurality of adjustable shelves in multiple directions. This helps in placing the cargo in a proper space in such a way that the cargo do not fall out of the plurality of adjustable shelves and hence prevent the cargo from getting damaged. Also the plurality of adjustable shelves are strong enough to hold heavy cargo boxes and the movement of the plurality of adjustable shelves which are already on wheels makes it easy for the workers to load/unload the heavy cargoes from the vehicle .
[0024] Fig. 1 illustrates a perspective view of a cargo module with adjustable shelves 100, according to an embodiment of a present invention. According to an embodiment of the invention, there is provided a cargo frame 102 that is mounted on a shipping vehicle. The shipping vehicle is anyone of a two-wheeler, three wheeler or a four wheeler vehicle. The cargo frame 102 essentially includes a housing, a cargo module, or a cargo box enclosure. In another embodiment, the cargo frame 102 may be made up of metal, wood, fiber, metal alloy or any other like material. In one embodiment, a structure of the cargo frame 102 is anyone of a tubular, foldable, so that the cargo frame 102 easily fold/unfold to accommodate cargo of different sizes.
[0025] In preferred embodiment, the cargo frame 102 may be provided with plurality of adjustable shelf mounts 114 on at least two of a plurality of walls of the cargo frame 102. In an embodiment of the invention, the shelf mounts 114 may be permanently fixed or removably placed on the walls of the cargo frame 102. Also, the shelf mounts 114 may be placed uniformly from each other or even in a non-uniform manner. The plurality of adjustable shelves 106 extending laterally and longitudinally in order to place the cargo of multiple sizes. In another embodiment of the invention, the plurality of adjustable shelf mounts 114 is made up of metal, fiber, rubber, plastic or any other suitable material.
[0026] The plurality of shelf mounts 114 are configured to hold plurality of adjustable shelves 106 within a pair of shelf mounts. The plurality of adjustable shelves 106 are so engaged that they may be removed or placed back within the plurality of shelf mounts 114 as and when required as per the usage requirement of the user.
[0027] According to an another embodiment of the invention, at least one hinge mechanism 108 installed within the cargo frame to allow the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 to bend in a required direction. In another embodiment, at least one lock and hook 112 mechanism placed within the cargo frame 102 and at least one sliding mechanism 110 disposed with the lock and hook mechanism 112. The lock mechanism 112 may lock the hook onto the plurality of shelf mounts 114 inside the cargo frame 102. In preferred embodiment, the sliding mechanism 110 may allow for easy sliding of the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 , in and out of the cargo frame 102.
[0028] The siding mechanism 110 includes plurality of wheels or castors mounted to the underside of the cargo frame 102, which in turn is typically mounted with the lock and hook mechanism 112. The castors may engage the plurality of adjustable shelf mounts 114 and permit the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 to be rolled in different positions relative to the cargo frame 102. Preferably the castors are free to rotate in any direction about a vertical and horizontal axis so that once free from the interior region of the cargo frame 102, the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 may be moved freely in any direction. In another embodiment of the invention, the cargo frame 102 includes a locking door 104 that is an inner door and an outer door. The outer door 104 may provide access to interior of the cargo frame 102 enclosure. Also, the inner door is configured to lock the shelf in its place inside the cargo frame 102. The locking door 104 for locking the shelves 106 may be pivoted about the side of cargo frame 102.
[0029] According to another embodiment of the invention, the locking door 104 may further include a position lock that enables the locking door 104 to be fixed at its position and stall any free movement of the same.
[0030] Fig. 2A & 2B illustrates a foldable structure of plurality of adjustable shelves in upward direction and downward direction respectively, according to an embodiment of a present invention. The plurality of adjustable shelves 106 include a two way locking mechanism that enables the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 to be bent in any of the upward or downward direction. In another embodiment, the cargo such as a bags or a sack is placed on upward direction of the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 and a lateral arms 202 is providing the required grip and lock to hold the cargo boxes firmly on the cargo frame 102. Similarly, the cargo box is placed on the downward direction of the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 and the lateral arms 202 again providing the grip to hold the cargo boxes in this direction also.
[0031] Fig. 3 illustrates a multi direction movable structure of plurality of adjustable shelves, according to an embodiment of a present invention. The structure is multi directional movable, which means the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 move in upwards/downward as well as in sideways direction. This multi directional movement gives it a capability of accommodating cargoes of different dimensions.
[0032] In another embodiment, the bending of the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 in upward or downward direction may also create an enclosed cages structure in order to place any fragile, or cargo to be handled with care. Or this, the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 may be configured with a bendable structure from middle or any other distance as required. Also, the same shelf may include more than one bendable configuration for more configurations within the cargo frame 102 enclosure.

As one will readily appreciate from the disclosure, processes, machines, manufacture, compositions of matter, means, methods, or steps, presently existing or later to be developed that perform substantially the same function or achieve substantially the same result as the corresponding embodiments described herein may be utilized. Accordingly, the appended claims are intended to include within their scope such processes, machines, manufacture, compositions of matter, means, methods, or steps. ,CLAIMS:We claim,
1. A cargo module with adjustable shelves 100, comprising:
a cargo frame 102 configured to be disposed in a shipping vehicle;
plurality of adjustable shelf mounts 114 configured on at least one of the cargo frame 102 for holding plurality of adjustable shelves 106 within at least one pair of the shelf mounts 114 , wherein at least one locking door 104 pivoted on at least one side of the cargo frame 102 for locking the plurality of adjustable shelves 106;
at least one hinge mechanism 108 disposed within the cargo frame 102 to allow the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 to bend in a required direction;
at least one lock and hook mechanism 112 disposed within the cargo frame 102, wherein the at least one lock mechanism 112 configured to lock the hook onto the plurality of adjustable shelf mounts 114 inside the cargo frame 102; and
at least one sliding mechanism 110 disposed with the lock and hook mechanism 112, wherein the sliding mechanism 110 allow the sliding of the plurality of adjustable shelves 106, in and out of the cargo frame 102.
2. The cargo module with adjustable shelves 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cargo frame 102 is anyone of a cargo module, a cargo housing, and a cargo box enclosure.
3. The cargo module with adjustable shelves 100 as claimed in claim 2, wherein the cargo frame 102 is made up of metal, wood, fiber, metal alloy or any other like material.
4. The cargo module with adjustable shelves 100 as claimed in claim 2, wherein a structure of the cargo frame 102 is anyone of a tubular, a foldable, so that the cargo frame 102 easily fold/unfold to accommodate cargo of different sizes.
5. The cargo module with adjustable shelves 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of adjustable shelf mounts 114 is either to be permanently fixed or removably placed on the cargo frame 102.
6. The cargo module with adjustable shelves 100 as claimed in claim 5, wherein the plurality of adjustable shelf mounts 114 is made up of metal, fiber, rubber, plastic or any other suitable material.
7. The cargo module with adjustable shelves 100 as claimed in claim 5, wherein the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 extending laterally and longitudinally in order to place the cargo of multiple sizes.
8. The cargo module with adjustable shelves 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein the bending of the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 in upward or downward direction may also create an enclosed cage structure.
9. The cargo module with adjustable shelves 100 as claimed in claim 1, wherein at least one of the locking door 104 is anyone of an inner door or an outer door.
10. The cargo module with adjustable shelves 100 as claimed in claim 9, wherein the inner door 104 is configured to lock the plurality of adjustable shelves 106 in its place inside the cargo frame 102 and the outer door may provide access to interior of the cargo frame 102.
