Catalyst Cleaning Method And Catalyst Cleaning Device
Abstract: A catalyst cleaning method including: a step for supporting a honeycomb-structured catalyst above a cleaning liquid so that an opening surface of the catalyst and the liquid surface of the cleaning liquid face each other; and a step for lowering the catalyst and immersing the catalyst in the cleaning liquid. In the immersing step, the length of time from when the catalyst touches the cleaning liquid until the entirety of the catalyst is immersed in the cleaning liquid is at least 5 minutes. The cleaning liquid thereby slowly penetrates from the opening surface on the lower side of the catalyst, and air contained in ash inside the catalyst bleeds out from the opening surface on the upper side of the catalyst.
