Detailed Description of the Invention
The present invention discloses the game architecture of the online game CBIT, which requires the users to use their basic mathematical skills to win the game. In the CBIT online game, the question which appears in front of the user at regular time intervals, and each time the question appears, the numbers and the colors in the boxes fluctuate. Once the game starts at the scheduled time, the players are expected to add the value in the blue boxes, subtract the values in the red boxes and ignore the values in green boxes. After making the calculations, the player would have to choose an answer from given options, or from the given ranges.
According to the present invention, the game architecture includes creation of new game for every set amount of time, where when the user is provided with the question, they will be given a set time to provide their answer, and once the winner is announced, next question has to be displayed.
There are different patterns or strategies which are in use in the gaming architecture, where the red, blue and green colored squares are changing in sequence and the numbers in the colored squares are randomly fluctuating until they freeze to form a final question or equation, for which the user have to provide an answer. The fluctuation of the colors and the numbers happen for a set amount of time after which they freeze. Once the numbers are frozen, the players would have to add the values in the blue boxes and in Red boxes, and have to provide the right answer i.e. whether total of red boxes is high or total of blue boxes, and have to select the answer from Red win/ Blue win or Draw.
FIG 1 discloses the game strategy where the numbers are displayed in red, blue and green colors. With respect to FIG 1, the display of numbers prior to start of the game is disclosed where there are four boxes in green color i.e. G1, G2, G3 and G4; two boxes in blue color i.e. B1 and B2; and two boxes in red color i.e. R1 and R2. According to this game strategy, the red, blue and green colored squares i.e. B1, B2, R1, R2, G1, G2, G3, and G4 are changing in sequence and the numbers in the colored squares are fluctuating randomly. The time seen on the top which says the game starts in 00.00.10 and the fluctuation of colored boxes and numbers starts 5 minutes, prior to showing the final equation.
FIG 2 discloses the set-up where the fluctuation of numbers, prior to freezing to form the final question or equation. With reference to FIG 2, the random fluctuation of numbers is seen and sequence fluctuation of the colored boxes can be seen in 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d. The red colored boxes R1 and R2; blue colored boxes B1 and B2; and green colored boxes G1, G2, G3, and G4 are seen fluctuating in sequence, while the numbers which are appearing in these boxes are random numbers. The fluctuation of colored boxes and numbers in the boxes start from 5 minutes prior to start of actual game.
According to 2a, 00.00.08 (8 sec) prior to start of the game B1 which is in column 2 in the row 1, and also at 00.00.04 (4 seconds) prior to start of the game, B1 is still in same position as seen in 2b, whereas at 00.00.03 (3 seconds) prior to start of the game B1 is in column 1 of Row 1 as seen in 2c, which is also the case at the start of the game as seen in 2d, which shows the fluctuation of colored boxes in sequence.
With reference to FIG 2, in 2a, B1 which is in column 2 in the row 1 has number 12 in it, and in 2b, B1 has number 53; in 2c, B1 has number 24 in it, whereas in the final equation, B1 has number 42 in it as seen in 2d. The numbers which are present in the colored boxes are fluctuating randomly until they freeze to form the final equation.
Once the numbers freeze, the final equation is displayed to user, and the user is given a set time, for example 30 seconds to provide the answer to the question. Once the game starts at the scheduled time, the players are expected to add the value in the blue boxes and red boxes. After making the calculations, the player would have to choose an answer from given options i.e. either Red win, Blue win or a draw. The player who gives the right answer in less time would be declared winner, and wins the winning amount.
FIG 3 discloses the final equation or question which is displayed to the player after fluctuation of numbers randomly, until they freeze. With reference to FIG 3, once the user gives the answer, then the right answer is displayed below the question, also displaying the total amount which is won by the user in case the given answer is right, along with the virtual currency which is won by the player. The virtual currency is added to the player’s wallet during the game and this currency can be redeemed by the players. The application also displays all the winners of the game and the winning amount.
In another embodiment of the present invention, another game strategy is disclosed where the numbers in different colored boxes i.e. red, blue, and green are fixed but they are fluctuating or interchanging vertically i.e. up and down until they freeze to form a final equation to be solved. In this strategy, the numbers present in the red boxes, blue boxes and green boxes remain same, but these boxes interchange in the rows i.e. from 1 to 2 or 2 to 1 several times, and then come to a halt to disclose the final equation or question to be solved.
According to the present invention, once fluctuation of the colored boxes and numbers freeze, the user would have to make calculation whether the total of red boxes is high or total of blue is high or is it a draw i.e. both totals are equal. It can be said that the user would have to select whether it is red win, or blue win or a draw. Once selecting their answer, they would have to lock their answer, which calculates the time in which the player has answered the question.
In an alternative embodiment of the present invention, the process used for locking the player’s answer is disclosed. In this process, the player can press on any slot after which an object appears at the bottom of the screen at any random position, which moves from one point to another point, for example: point A to point B, and once the player touches the moving object, the time will be marked. This process can be employed mainly when there is more traffic seen during the game. Alternatively, the speed of the moving object will be based on the player’s entry fee and earning meter, which can be different for different players.
An alternative embodiment of the present invention discloses another form of choices which are provided to the players other than Red Win / Draw / Blue Win, where the right answer has to be selected from two or more slots which are provided. According to this embodiment of the present invention, two or more numerical slots in which the player would have to calculate the difference between total of blue boxes and total of red boxes, varied slots would be given from which the user can select the right answer. This set up can have a set of varied slots, and varied alternatives can be made from this concept.
According to the present invention, a set of variated slot games can be created from this concept including:
a. 2 slots. i.e. answer should be selected from one of two slots i.e. 0 to 4 or 5 to 9
b. 3 slots i.e. answer should be selected from one of three slots i.e. 0 to 3, 4 to 6 or 7 to 9.
c. 10 slots i.e. answer should be selected from one of ten slots i.e. 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9.
d. Fancy slot i.e. answer should be selected from one or more slots which can be from 0 to 1 and/or 2 to 9.
e. Super fancy slot i.e. answer should be selected from one or more slots which are provided, which can be 0 and/or 1 to 9.
f. 5 up 4 down slot i.e. answer should be selected from 0 to 4, 5, and 6 to 9.
g. 2 up 7 down slot i.e. answer should be selected from 0 to 2, 3, and 4-9.
Similarly the slots can be customized based on various features such as the entry fees, difficulty of the game and also the jackpot draw. Other slots which can be employed are 3 up 6 down and so on. The above slots are option of the answer, as the answer will always be any number from 0 to 9. So there could be one game where the options are 0 to 4 and 5 to 9 and there could be another game where the options are either 0 or 1 to 9.
According to the present invention, every standard game consists of some series of levels, which are embedded and closely related with the architecture of the game, which challenge the mental abilities of the user by exploring and discovering the speed with which the mathematical questions can be solved. Every game is unique and has high interactive power with its audience.
The present invention can be better understood with the help of examples.
Example 1:
In a live game, the question 1 has to appear in 5 minutes, and the numbers in the red, blue and green colored boxes start fluctuating randomly along with sequential fluctuation of colored boxes. The red colored box R1 is in column 1 of Row 1 at the start of 5 minutes, and it moves to position column 3 of row 2 for every split second in sequence, until the time is up and the final question is displayed.
Example 2:
In a live game, the question 1 has to appear in 5 minutes, and the numbers in the red, blue and green colored boxes start fluctuating randomly. The red colored box R1 which is in column 1 of Row 1 has number 8 at the start of 5 minutes, and in split second, number 53 appears in the box, followed by number 38, followed by number 9 followed by number 8 and so forth until it freezes to display the final question. The final question has the number 28 in the box R1 which is in the column 1 of row 1.
It should be kept in mind that the following described embodiment(s) is only presented by way of example and should not be construed as limiting the inventive concept to any particular physical configuration.
The present invention is not limited to only red, blue, or green colors which are mentioned in the description, and also the number of colored boxes in the said game is not limited only to 8 boxes as disclosed in the drawings of the present invention. Based on the same concept the game can be built with any colors and any number of boxes. Those who are familiar in the art will understand that a number of variations may be made in the disclosed embodiments, all without departing from the scope of the invention, which is defined solely by the appended claims.
