PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention relates to a centralized manual lubrication system. Particularly this invention relates to a centralized manual lubrication system for use inheavy-duty equipment such as off-highway trucks / dump trucks.
STATE OF THE ART IN THE FIELD
Dump trucks are used to transport excavated earth and rocks from the mines. The dump truck has self-lubricating system provided therewith, but sometimes the lubrication system fails. In such a scenario the dump truck doesn’t work at full efficiency as the truck has to be stopped for lubricating purposes. Other hand failures of the lubrication system increases the wear tear and damaging the expensive parts of dump trucks.
There are disadvantages associated with the conventional system used for lubricating required parts of the dump trucks. One of the disadvantages is that if the conventional system fails then manual lubrication is done to each and individual port of injector bank, by using hand greasing gun. It is a very lengthy and time consuming process.
Another disadvantage associated with the conventional system is that the manual lubrication is a time taking process and costly process.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a centralized manual lubrication system which obviates the disadvantages associated with the prior art system.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a centralized manual lubrication system which ensures lubricates all the moving points including the critical bearing points of equipment from a single central point as input and distribute the grease to the whole system.
Yet another object of the present invention is to a centralized manual lubrication system which easily carried out reducing the maintenance effort and man hour.
Still another object of the present invention is to provide a centralized manual lubrication system which has less maintenance cost.
A further object of the invention is that Lesser maintenance effort there is no necessity for removing individual port caps of injector unit and closing the same after greasing.
Another object of the invention is that Reduces man hours – Greasing can be done from a single point through grease gun.
Yet another object of the invention is to reduce stress/fatigue for the maintenance person.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
According to this invention, a centralized manual lubrication system comprising a pump assembly provided to store grease and pump the same to injector unit, a controller being provided to control the operation of an electric pump, a refilling unit being provided to supply the grease into the pump assembly, a progressive distribution block being provided to distribute to grease to individual ports to RH injector unit, a RH injector unit being provided to supply grease to lubricate from end part of vehicle, another progressive distribution block being provided to grease to individual port of rear injector unit, a rear injector unit being provided to grease the rear end part equipment of the vehicle, a pressure switch being provided to monitor functioning of the injector unit, characterized in that a filter and inlet manifold being provided to supply grease manually to the progressive distribution blocks so as to supply grease to the front and rear end lubricating parts.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
An Centralized manual lubrication system according to a preferred embodiment of this invention is herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings,
Figure 1, Illustrates an alternate centralized manual Lubrication System.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
A centralized manual lubrication system is herein described and illustrated with numerous specific details so as to provide a complete understanding of the invention. However, these specific details are exemplary details and should not be treated as the limitation to the scope of the invention. The invention may be performed with slight modifications. Throughout this specification the word “comprise” or variations such as “comprises or comprising”, will be understood to imply the inclusions of a stated element, integer or step, or group of elements, integers or steps, but not the exclusions of any other element, integer or step or group of elements, integers or steps.
Referring to the drawing, fig-1, a pump assembly (1) provided to storage grease and electric pump the same to injector unit (2) to fill the grease from an external source. a controller (3) is ready for operation the moment the ignition switch is switched on thereby switching on the controller. The controller (3) operates the electric pump (12)in the pump assembly,RH Injector unit (4) Used for distribution of grease to equipment front end lubricating parts by a progressive distribution block-1 (5) to distributes grease to individual ports of RH injector unit (4). In case of pump failure, manual lubrication can be done by single input point of progressive distribution unit being provided to distribute to grease to individual ports (14) to RH injector unit (4), the RH injector unit (4) being provided to receive andsupply grease to lubricate front end part of vehicle, another progressive distribution block-2 (8) to distribute grease to individual ports (15) by rear injector units being provided to grease to individual ports 15), a rear injector unit (7) being provided grease to the rear end part equipment of the vehicle, a pressure switch (9) for monitors the functioning of Injector units, any malfunctioning will be alerted by alarm to characterized in that a filter and inlet manifold (6) being provided to Manual grease is pumped from the pump assembly this point through hand grease gun from this pointto the progressive distribution blocks so as to receive andsupply grease to the front and rear end lubricating parts by manual Grease port outlet to bearing points (10). From here grease is distributed to bearing points and Polyimide hoses (11) used for the flow of grease.
When the ignition key is turned on the controller sends the signal to the pump and from container, grease is lubricated to all bearing points automatically. In case of pump failure, manual lubrication can be done by removing each and individual port plugs of injectors through hand grease gun. In this new invention, through a single input point lubricant will be pumped to filter and flown to progressive distribution unit which is connected parallelly to the injector banks from progressive distribution unit polyimide hoses connected to all Critical bearing points which will be receiving lubricant. Since the flow of lubricant through distribution unit will be at low pressure, it best suits for manual hand greasing without the assistance of any electrically operated grease pumps. This invention eliminates lubrication through each and individual ports of the injector and man-hours.
Certain features of the invention have been described with reference to the exemplary embodiments. However, the description is not intended to be construed in a limiting sense. Various modifications of the exemplary embodiments as well as other embodiments of the invention, which are apparent to the persons skilled in the art to which the invention pertains, are deemed to lie within the spirit and scope of the invention.
,CLAIMS:We claim:
