Ceramic Based Hydrothermal Resistant Catalyst Support Material

Abstract: The present invention relates to a ceramic based hydrothermal resistant catalyst support material and its process for preparing the same. The catalyst support material of the invention is useful in the production of hydrocarbons by Fischer- Tropsch process. In particular, during sulphur recovery in Claus Reactor and other hydrocarbon related reactions, the ceramic based hydrothermal resistant catalyst support material is used in conjunction with a suitable metal as a catalyst.
