Abstract: Present inventions describes a two wheeled vehicle with a power transmission assembly transmitting power to rear wheel through a connecting chain where a chain cover is surrounding upper part of exposed connecting chain and a chain cover guard covering the upper part of the chain cover.
FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention relates to a two wheeled vehicle and more particularly relates to the chain cover guard for the chain cover used in the rear part of the vehicle.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Generally, in a two wheeler the torque from the engine is transferred to the rear wheel through the chain which is in constant motion when the vehicle is in running condition. In the existing technology, there is a plastic chain cover over the chain to protect the leg of the passenger from coming in contact with the chain in motion. However, this cover is flexible and if the passenger places his leg accidentally on the guard, it can flex and the leg can be injured by the rotating wheel. Thus there is a need for an arrangement which can reduce the chances of injury because of flexibility of the chain cover.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention related to a two wheeled vehicle having a rear wheel assembly, a power transmission assembly with a connecting chain for transmitting torque to the rear wheel, a chain cover surrounding the upper part of the connecting chain exposed on the rear wheel and a chain cover guard covering the upper part of the chain cover.

Figure 1, is the side view of the rear part of the two wheeled vehicle depicting the embodiments of the invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The embodiments disclosed below are not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise forms disclosed in the following detailed description. Rather, the embodiments are chosen and described so that others skilled in the art may utilize their teachings. The invention may have application to all types of vehicles.
Referring to Figure 1, rear part of (100) two wheeled vehicle is shown, in order to explain the main embodiments of the invention. Rear wheel (103) of the vehicle is connected to the internal combustion engine (not shown in the diagram) through a transmission unit (101) and the torque is transmitted from the internal combustion engine (not shown in the diagram) to the rear wheel (103) through a chain mechanism (105) connecting output shaft (not shown in the diagram) of the engine to the rear wheel axle (106). Said chain mechanism (105) remains in continuous motion during the working condition of the vehicle and hence a chain cover (102) is used for covering the upper part of moving chain in order to protect the pillion rider. As per the constructional needs demands the chain cover (102) is made up of flexible material. Thus for the avoidance of any kind of damages to the rider or the pillion rider a chain cover guard (104) is fixed with the upper part of the chain cover (102). Said chain cover guard can be made up of any metal or hard plastic or alloys.
WHAT IS CLAIMED IS
1. A two wheeled vehicle comprising a rear wheel, a power transmission assembly configured to transmit power to the rear wheel through a connecting chain, a chain cover surrounding upper part of exposed connecting chain and a chain cover guard covering the
upper part of the chain cover.
2. The two wheeled vehicle, as claimed in claimed 1, wherein the chain cover guard is a metal part.
3. The two wheeled vehicle, as claimed in claimed 1, wherein the chain cover guard is a plastic part.
4. The two wheeled vehicle, substantially as herein described with reference to, and as illustrated in, the accompanying drawings.
