Abstract: [Problem] To provide a chiller which has a DI filter for removing ionic material in cooling water and is compact, and which can save energy and costs. [Solution] This chiller 1 has cooling water circuits 3, 4 separately providing cooling water 7, 8 to two devices 5, 6, and a refrigeration circuit 2 through which a primary refrigerant for controlling the temperature of the cooling water flows. The refrigeration circuit 2 is formed by connecting in parallel heat exchange flow paths 23, 24 the number of which is equal to that of cooling water circuits, and heat exchangers 21, 22 are provided to each of these heat exchange flow paths. The refrigeration circuit includes: tanks 40, 60 in which the cooling water is accommodated; first supply conduits 43, 63 which supply cooling water inside the tanks to the corresponding heat exchanger; second supply conduits 44, 64 which supply, to devices, cooling water that has been temperature-controlled by the heat exchangers; and return conduits 45, 65 which guide, to the tanks, cooling water that has returned from the devices back. The chiller 1 has a filtration conduit 76 which branches from the second supply conduit 44 of the cooling water circuit 3 and connects to the return conduit 65 of the cooling water circuit 4, and a DI filter 78 is provided to the filtration conduit 76.
