, Description:Field of the invention
[001] Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a squeezer and particularly to a citrus juice extractor.
Description of Related Art
[002] Citrus juice is used in household from many centuries due to its medicinal and preservative qualities. The citrus juice has a lot of potential to be used in industry as well in order to make different products. Traditionally, the citrus juice has been extracted manually. However, manual extraction involves a step of cutting and squeezing of citrus fruit by hands which is a tedious process. Moreover, this process is inefficient as a user is unable to extract the citrus juice completely. In order to overcome the aforementioned issues, various juice extractors have been designed to extract the citrus juice.
[003] Conventionally, the juice extractors that are available for extracting the citrus juice are efficient enough to utilize a pulp and juice of the citrus fruit. However, such type of juice extractors still needs manual intervention as the user needs to cut the citrus fruit first in order to use the extractor. Moreover, such juice extractors are not easy to handle and needs a parental guidance in order to use a knife for cutting the citrus fruit.
[004] There is thus a need for an improved and advanced citrus juice extractor that can administer the aforementioned issues in a more efficient manner.
