Clutch Assemblies For Vehicles
Abstract: ABSTRACT CLUTCH ASSEMBLIES FOR VEHICLES A clutch assembly (102) for a vehicle includes at least one clutch lever (104), at least one clutch lever holder (402), and a clutch switch assembly (404). The clutch switch assembly (404) is couplable to the at least one clutch lever holder (402) at a predetermined angle. The clutch switch assembly (404) includes a clutch switch (408) including an actuation plate (410) and a clutch switch casing (406). When the at least one clutch lever (104) is moved to a compressed position, the at least one clutch lever (104) contacts the actuation plate (410) to actuate the actuation plate (410). The actuation of the actuation plate (410) causes the clutch switch (408) to send a signal to an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) of the vehicle to facilitate starting of the vehicle irrespective of a gear shift position.
