Abstract: Provided are: a coil; a pair of flange parts sandwiching the coil; a terminal attachment part provided projecting outward in the radial direction of the coil from one of the flange parts the terminal attachment part having a first side surface and a second side surface that face opposite the circumferential direction; and a terminal provided to the upper surface of the terminal attachment part the terminal extending in a direction perpendicular to the upper surface. The coil includes: a winding part on which a conducting wire is wound; and a drawer part that when viewed from a direction along the central axis of the coil is provided separated radially outward from the winding part in a direction facing from the first side surface to the second side surface the drawer part contacting the second side surface. The drawer part is provided along a second reference line or is provided at a position closer to the winding part than is the second reference line where a virtual line that intersects the portion at which the first side surface and the outer circumference of the flange part are in contact and that is parallel to the direction in which the terminal extends is used as a first reference line and a virtual line that is orthogonal to the first reference line and that contacts the outer circumference of the flange part is used as the second reference line.
WE CLAIM:
1. A coil bobbin comprising: a coil;
a pair of flange portions sandwiching the coil; 5 a terminal attachment portion which is provided so as to protrude outward in a radial direction of the coil from one of the flange portions and has a first side surface and a second side surface which are faced to each other in a circumferential direction; and
10 a terminal provided on an upper surface of the
terminal attachment portion and extending in a direction perpendicular to the upper surface, wherein
the coil includes a winding portion around which a conductive wire is wound, and a lead portion which is
15 provided in a direction away from the winding portion
radially outwardly and toward the second side surface from the first side surface, and comes in contact with the second side surface as seen from a direction along a central axis of the coil,
20 when one imaginary line that intersects a portion
where the first side surface and the outer periphery of the flange portion come in contact with each other, and is parallel to the extending direction of the terminal is defined as a first reference line, and another imaginary
25 line orthogonal to the first reference line and coming in
contact with the outer periphery of the flange portion is a second reference line,
the lead portion is provided along the second reference line or is provided at a position closer to the
30 winding portion than the second reference line.
2. The coil bobbin according to claim 1, wherein a first projecting portion projecting in the

circumferential direction is provided on the second side surface,
at a portion where an outer periphery of the flange
portion and the second side surface come in contact with
5 each other, the cutout portion that is recessed radially
inward from the outer periphery of the flange portion is
provided, and
the lead portion comes in contact between the first projecting portion and the cutout portion. 10
3. A coil bobbin comprising: a coil;
a pair of flange portions sandwiching the coil; a terminal attachment portion which is provided so as 15 to protrude outward in a radial direction of the coil from the one flange portion and has a first side surface and a second side surface which are faced to each other in a circumferential direction of the flange portion and to which the end portion of the coil is attached; and 20 a terminal provided on an upper surface of the
terminal attachment portion and extending in a direction perpendicular to the upper surface, wherein
a first projecting portion protruding in the circumferential direction is provided on the second side 25 surface, and
a cutout portion recessed radially inward from an outer periphery of the flange portion is provided at a portion where the outer periphery of the flange portion and the second side face are in contact with each other. 30
4. The coil bobbin according to claim 3, wherein
the coil includes a winding portion around which a conductive wire is wound, and a lead portion which is

provided in a direction away from the winding portion radially outwardly and toward the second side surface from the first side surface, and comes in contact with the second side surface as seen from a direction along a 5 central axis of the coil,
when one imaginary line that intersects a portion where the first side surface and the outer periphery of the flange portion come in contact with each other, and is parallel to the extending direction of the terminal is
10 defined as a first reference line, and another imaginary line orthogonal to the first reference line and coming in contact with the outer periphery of the flange portion is a second reference line,
the lead portion is provided along the second
15 reference line or is provided at a position closer to the winding portion than the second reference line.
5. The coil bobbin according to claim 2 or 4, wherein
a second protruding portion protruding in a
20 circumferential direction is provided on the second side
surface at a radially outer side of the first projecting
portion, and
the lead portion is connected to the terminal from
between the first projecting portion and the cutout portion 25 through a rear surface of the first projecting portion and
a front surface of the second protruding portion.
6. The coil bobbin according to claim 5, wherein a
recessed portion recessed in a direction along a central
30 axis of the coil is provided on a front face of the second protruding portion.
7. A torque detection device comprising:

a coil bobbin according to any one of claims 1 to 6;
the coil whose impedance varies according to a torque generated on a rotating shaft;
a yoke having a cylindrical portion that internally 5 fits and holds the coil bobbin;
a yoke cover press-fitted to an inner diameter of the cylindrical portion; and
a terminal attachment portion which is provided so as to protrude outward in a radial direction of the coil 10 bobbin from the flange portion of the coil bobbin and to attach both ends of the coil, wherein
a chamfered portion is formed in at least a part of a portion of the terminal attachment portion facing a curved portion of a conductive wire constituting the coil. 15
