Abstract: The coil winding apparatus is assembled structure of base frame, vertical support, fixed jaw, adjustable jaw, locking rod & guiding pin which in combination act as a holding fixture for coil of electronic board transformer core for winding purpose and same has capability to hold different diameter & size of transformer core by movement of adjustable jaw.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is related to apparatus for coil winding in core of
transformer for any type of core without overlapping & filling of neighboring turns.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Coil winding in core of the transformer is one of the foremost operations in
manufacturing of Transformer for electronic boards. There is no holding fixture for
core of transformer for coil winding. The most of the winding technique is manual &
for holding the core during winding operation is somehow manage by operator.
There is no standard holding fixture for core which cause unevenness winding on the
core and result poor performance of transformer in electronic boards. The coil
winding apparatus is a holding fixture for various dimension core of transformer. This
is a generic holding fixture which can be use for coil winding operation for any type of
test piece.
SUMMARY OF PRESENT INVENTION
The existing process of coil winding is manual and operator somehow
manages the holding of core during winding operation. The said process causes,
unevenness, overlapping & filling of neighboring turns during winding operation. The
coil winding apparatus capable to hold the core of transformer precisely during coil
winding operation. The said apparatus is of low cost & handy in use, this can be
place at assembly table of operator. New adopted Methodology for holding the

transformer core for coil winding by said apparatus is useful in accordance of
following aspect:
In accordance with one aspect of present invention, the said apparatus
provides uniform turning of coil on the core.
In accordance with second aspect of present invention, the said fixture can be
use to hold different diameter & size of transformer core.
In accordance with another aspect of present invention, is to provide a coil
winding apparatus capable of holding the core of transformer by apparatus result coil
winding operation without overlapping of neighboring turns.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, it is smaller in size
& weight and handy to transport at different work station.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention structure is such
that it hold the core of test piece preciously stable which cause errorless winding
operation.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, it is safe to
operate i.e. since its design structure avoids mishandling of thin copper wire.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, the coil winding
operation is fully manual, so operator can adjust the applied force during winding
operation on core according to requirement of test piece.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, the said
apparatus has flexibility to change its holding orientation of core as per operator
need.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, the transformer
core of test piece is isolated with any metallic contact of fixture by assembly of nonconducting
material strip on holding length of jaw.
In accordance with yet another aspect of present invention, the apparatus
holding jaw can be adjusted as per core size of test piece by vertical motion of guide
pin and fix at required place by locking rod.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Fig. 1 is an Assembled structure of coil Winding Apparatus.
Fig. 2 is a detail mechanical design of base frame, vertical support, & guiding pin.
Fig. 3 is a detail mechanical design of fixed jaw, adjustable jaw and locking rod.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Referring the figure 1, 2 & 3, the Coil Winding Apparatus is a holding fixture
for transformer core of test piece. The said apparatus is assembly of 07 different
item, they are called as pos.1- base frame, pos 2- vertical support, pos 3-fixed jaw ,
pos 4-adjustable jaw, pos 5- locking rod, pos 6- guiding pin and pos 7- nonconducting
plate.
The base frame 1 is rectangular shape plate to provide stabilization to the
said apparatus during winding operation on the core. Its weight & design dimension
is kept as such way that it able to handle the other assembly item weight and avoid
any misbalance during varied orientation of winding operation by operator. The base
frame 1 has hole of at center for assembly of vertical support 2 & guided pin 6.
The vertical support 2 is cylindrical rod with slot at one end. The vertical
support 2 is main frame on which assembly of fixed jaw 3 & adjustable jaw 4 are
made. The vertical support inner hole have guided pin 6 which is link with adjustable
jaw 4 for its vertical motion inside the cylinder. This motion of guided pin 6 with
adjustable jaw 4 in vertical direction cause variation of holding dimension which
result the capability of said fixture to hold different dimension transformer core of
electronic boards. The fixed jaw 3 & adjustable jaw 4 is mirror image in mechanical
design. Both jaw 3 and 4 has a small assembly of non-conduction plate 7 by a
special type of glue on holding length of jaw. This non conducting plate 7 provides
isolated holding of transformer core from metallic body of apparatus.
In assembled structure of Coil Winding Apparatus the locking rod 5 is inserted
inside the guided hole of both jaw 3 and 4. The locking rod 5 is responsible to hold
the adjustable jaw 4 in vertical support as per required holding dimension of test
piece. Knurling has made on tip of locking rod 5 for smooth griping by operator.

Accordingly, the description of the present invention is to be considered as illustrative only and is for the purpose of teaching those skilled in the art of the best mode of carrying out the invention. The details may be varied substantially without departing from the spirit of the invention, and exclusive use of all modifications which are within the scope of the appended claims is reserved. We Claim

1. The coil winding apparatus is assembly of different mechanical item which in combination act as holding fixture for transformer core for winding operation the said apparatus comprises of following :

- Base Frame, is rectangular shape plate to provide stabilization to the said apparatus.

- Vertical Support is cylindrical rod with slot at one end which holds jaw with locking rod.

- Fixed Jaw is assembled at one end of vertical support.
- Adjustable Jaw is assembled with guided pin from slot side of vertical support for height adjustment.

- Locking Rod is assembled in guided hole of fixed & adjustable jaw for locking of adjustable jaw at required height.

- Guiding pin, provide vertical motion of adjustable jaw.
- Non-conducting plate, provide metallic isolation to holed core in jaw.
2. The coil winding apparatus of claim 1 wherein, fixed & adjustable jaw with non-conducting plate assembly provide metallic isolation of core from the said apparatus.

3. The coil winding apparatus of claim 1 further comprises that, vertical motion of adjustable jaw makes it capable to hold different dimension of transformer core of test piece.

4. The coil winding apparatus of claim 1 wherein the said apparatus is smaller in size & weight and handy to transport at different work station.

5. The coil winding apparatus of claim 1 wherein the said apparatus has flexibility to change its holding orientation of core as per operator need.
6. The coil winding apparatus of claim 1 wherein coil winding operation without overlapping & filling of neighboring turns.

7. The coil winding apparatus of claim 1 wherein have capability of stabilized holding of adjustable jaw at required height by locking rod which is smooth to operate due to knurling on handle. ,TagSPECI:As per Annexure-II
