Abstract: The present invention discloses a standalone educational merriment apparatus that is easily operated by beginners, young children and adolescents, and is cost effective. The assemblage merriment apparatus comprises a spinner device mounted on a hardboard, plurality of skill cards, a plurality of pattern blocks or connectors and a grid or frame. The said plurality of skill cards are randomly distributed to the user to collate the pattern blocks or connectors on a grid or frame accordingly. The present invention also discloses a method of operation of the assemblage merriment apparatus.
FIELD OF INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to a collation merriment apparatus. More particularly, the present invention relates to a standalone collation merriment apparatus.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[002] Merriment apparatuses have been prevalent in the market since decades. Such apparatuses involve mental, strategical, or logical abilities, depending on their operational method.
[003] These apparatuses may be for children as well as for adults, based on the level of the intellectual ability to be applied thereon. These can be classified broadly as either educational or entertainment apparatuses.
[004] There are many known types of educational merriment apparatuses, one of which is the standalone educational merriment apparatuses, comprising a printed matter placed on top of a hardware. The main disadvantage of this type of educational apparatuses is that they are not suitable and/or convenient for younger children. Another disadvantage of this type of educational apparatuses is that they are expensive.
OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
[005] The primary objective of the present invention is to overcome the above-mentioned problem associated with the existing type of educational merriment apparatuses.
[006] Another object of the present invention is to provide an educational merriment apparatus that is standalone in nature.
[007] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an educational merriment apparatus that is easily operated by beginners, young children and adolescents.
[008] Another object of the present invention is to provide an educational merriment apparatus that is cost effective.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[009] A merriment apparatus as per the present invention comprises a spinner device mounted on a hardboard, plurality of skill cards, a plurality of pattern blocks or connectors and a grid or frame. The said plurality of skill cards are randomly distributed to the user to collate the pattern blocks or connectors on a grid or frame accordingly. The said spinning hardboard comprises of circular path divided into plurality of chambers marked with some type of differentiable indicia related to the pattern blocks or connectors. The plurality of users take turn to maneuver their pattern across the grid or frame as per the allotted symbol indicia. The plurality of users place one pattern block or connector at a time on the grid or frame to form collate the pattern mentioned on the skill card. It is pertinent to note that the pattern can be made collated in any direction on the grid or frame.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0010] The following description describes various features and functions of the disclosed system. The illustrative aspects described herein are not meant to be limiting. It may be readily understood that certain aspects of the disclosed system can be arranged and combined in a wide variety of different configurations, all of which may not have been contemplated herein.
[0011] These and other features, including the advantages of the present invention may be incorporated into certain embodiments of the invention which will become fully apparent from the following description, and more apparent from the description to be followed in the complete specification.
[0012] Accordingly, those of ordinary skill in the art will recognize that various changes and modifications of the embodiments described herein can be made without departing from the scope of the invention. In addition, descriptions of well-known functions and constructions are omitted for clarity and conciseness.
[0013] It is to be understood that the singular forms "a", "an", and "the" include plural reference, unless the context clearly dictates otherwise.
[0014] It should be emphasized that the term "comprises/comprising" when used in this specification is taken to specify the presence of stated features, integers, steps or components, but does not preclude the presence or addition of one or more other features, integers, steps, components or groups thereof.
[0015] In order to provide basic understanding of some aspects of the invention, a simplified description of the invention is presented herein. It is not an extensive overview of this invention. Also, it is neither intended to identify the key/critical elements of the invention nor to define the scope of the invention.
[0016] The present invention discloses a merriment apparatus for teaching collation of disorganized similar parts thereof.
[0017] The merriment apparatus comprises, but is not limited to, a spinner device on a hardboard, plurality of skill cards, a plurality of pattern blocks or connectors, a plurality of users, and a grid or frame.
[0018] The said spinning hardboard comprises of a circular path divided into a plurality of chambers marked with some type of differentiable indicia related to the plurality of skill cards.
[0019] The plurality of skill cards is embossed with organized pattern in the front for the plurality of users to refer and collate the plurality of disorganized pattern blocks or connectors on a grid or frame.
[0020] Each user alternatively spins the spinner device on the hardboard and accordingly gets allotted an indicia which correlates to one of the plurality of pattern blocks or connectors.
[0021] The plurality of users manoeuvre their pattern across the grid or frame as per the allotted indicia.
[0022] The plurality of users place one pattern block or connector at a time on the grid or frame to collate the pattern mentioned on the skill card. It is pertinent to note that the pattern can be collated in any direction on the grid or frame.
[0023] The user aims to arrange the indicia on the grid or frame as per the requisite pattern as soon as possible.
[0024] As per a specific embodiment of the present invention, the number of users is limited to a maximum of two at a given point of time. The number of users mentioned is not to limit the scope of invention, but only to further enhance the understanding of invention to a person skilled in the art.
[0025] The present invention also discloses a method for operation of such standalone comparison merriment apparatus.
[0026] While the present invention has been described with reference to one or more preferred aspects, which aspects have been set forth in considerable detail for the purposes of making a complete disclosure of the invention, such aspects are merely exemplary and are not intended to be limiting or represent an exhaustive enumeration of all aspects of the invention. The scope of the invention, therefore, shall be defined solely by the following claims. Further, it will be apparent to those of skill in the art that numerous changes may be made in such details without departing from the principles of the invention.
