Collection Merriment Apparatus And Method Of Operation Thereof

Abstract: A collection merriment apparatus as per the present invention comprises a rolling device, a hardboard having patterns or shapes therein, and objects having the various shapes corresponding the shapes on the hardboard. The said apparatus operates by selection of a hardboard from a plurality of hardboards based on the level of difficulty, which proceed a user to choose a particular color counter from a plurality of counters, which forwardly enables a user to take turn to roll the rolling device one by one. Further, the rolling device would finalize the movement of the counter on the hardboard according to the points appearing on the rolling device. This enables the user to collect the shape corresponding to the object of the box on which the counter lands according to the points appearing on the rolling device and accumulate scores accordingly.

Specification

FIELD OF INVENTION
[001] The present invention relates to a merriment apparatus. More particularly, the present invention relates to a stand-alone collection merriment apparatus.
BACKGROUND
[002] Merriment apparatuses have been prevalent in the market since decades. Such apparatuses involve mental, strategical, or logical abilities, depending on their operational method. These may be for children as well as for adults, based on the level of the intellectual ability to be applied. These can be classified broadly as either educational or entertainment ones. There are many known types of educational merriment apparatuses, one of which is the standalone educational merriment apparatuses, comprising a printed matter placed on top of a hardware. The main disadvantage of this type of educational apparatuses is that they are not suitable and/or convenient for younger children. Another disadvantage of this type of educational apparatuses is that they are expensive.
OBJECTIVE OF THE INVENTION
[003] Objects of the present invention involve overcoming the above-mentioned problem associated with the existing type of educational merriment apparatuses.
[004] Primary object of the present invention is to provide an educational merriment apparatus that is standalone in nature.
[005] Another object of the present invention is to provide an educational merriment apparatus that is easily operated by beginners, young children and adolescents.
[006] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide an educational merriment apparatus that is cost effective.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[007] A collection merriment apparatus as per the present invention comprises a rolling device, a hardboard having patterns or shapes therein, and objects having the various shapes corresponding the shapes on the hardboard.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[008] The following description describes various features and functions of the disclosed system. The illustrative aspects described herein are not meant to be limiting. It may be readily understood that certain aspects of the disclosed system can be arranged and combined in a wide variety of different configurations, all of which may not have been contemplated herein.
[009] These and other features, including the advantages of the present invention may be incorporated into certain embodiments of the invention which will become fully apparent from the following description, and more apparent from the description to be followed in the complete specification.
[0010] Accordingly, those of ordinary skill in the art will recognize that various changes and modifications of the embodiments described herein can be made without departing from the scope of the invention. In addition, descriptions of well-known functions and constructions are omitted for clarity and conciseness.
[0011] It is to be understood that the singular forms "a", "an", and "the" include plural reference, unless the context clearly dictates otherwise.

[0012] It should be emphasized that the term "comprises/comprising" when used in this specification is taken to specify the presence of stated features, integers, steps or components, but does not preclude the presence or addition of one or more other features, integers, steps, components or groups thereof.
[0013] In order to provide basic understanding of some aspects of the invention, a simplified description of the invention is presented herein. It is not an extensive overview of this invention. Also, it is neither intended to identify the key/critical elements of the invention or to define the scope of the invention.
[0014] The present invention discloses a merriment apparatus to enable learning collection and comparison of different shapes.
[0015] The apparatus comprises, but is not limited to, a rolling device, a hardboard having patterns or shapes therein, and objects having the various shapes corresponding the shapes on the hardboard.
[0016] Users first select a hardboard from a plurality of hardboards based on the level of difficulty. Each user chooses a particular color counter from a plurality of counters. Pursuant to selection of the hardboard and counter, the users take turn to roll the rolling device one by one.
[0017] Each shape, which may include, but is not limited to a triangle, a quadrilateral, a pentagon, and a hexagon is associated with different pre-determined scores.
[0018] The user rolls the rolling device with the objective to move the counter. The movement of counter is dependent on the number appearing on the rolling device. The user then moves the counter on the hardboard according to the points appearing on the rolling device.
[0019] The user then collects the shape corresponding to the object of the box on which the counter lands according to the points appearing on the rolling device and accumulates scores accordingly.

[0020] The users aim to collect more points or scores in comparison to their counterparts, till the time all the shapes displayed on the selected board are collected.
[0021] As per a specific embodiment of the present invention, the number of users is limited to a maximum of four and a minimum of two. The number of users is mentioned not to limit the scope of invention, but only to further enhance the understanding of the invention to a person skilled in the art.
[0022] As per an alternate embodiment, the present invention can also be optionally realized through an electronically connected means.
[0023] The present invention also discloses a method for operation of such standalone collection merriment apparatus.
[0024] While the present invention has been described with reference to one or more preferred aspect, which have been set forth in considerable details for the purpose of making a disclosure of the invention, such aspects are merely exemplary and are not intended to be limiting or represent an exhaustive enumeration of all aspects of the invention. The scope of the invention, therefore, shall be defined solely by the claims to be followed in the complete specification. Further, it will be apparent to those skills in the art that numerous changes may be made in such details without departing from the principles of the invention.
