Abstract: TITLE: Combined Localization, Fusion, Routing in Wireless Sensors Networks ABSTRACT: Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is recognized as one of the TEN technologies that will change the world. Development of protocols and algorithms for communicating (to the base station ) and processing the sensor outputs is a research problem. It is well recognized that LOCALIZING an event such as FIRE (in the case of WSN monitoring FOREST FIREs) over the sensor field is a difficult problem. In this patent application, An approach has been proposed ( based on existing equipment) to LOCALIZE events such as FIRE on sensor field and also designed combined routing, fusion, localization method. The principles proposed can be readily implemented with existing equipment. The proposed method is energy aware ( minimizing energy consumption at the sensors ). Thus the invention has REAL UTILITY value for the designers of WSNs.
