Communication Between Business Applications Within A Workspace Provided Through A Business Computing Platform

Abstract: A method includes loading a business computing platform through a server, and registering a client device through the business computing platform based on an agent thereof executing on the client device. The method also includes creating a workspace within the client device including a number of applications laid out therein in accordance with a layout selected through the agent, creating an event space related to the workspace in a same memory space, and providing access to the event space to each application. Further, the method includes generating an event related to a direct modification of an application through the workspace by a user of the client device to be passed on to the event space along with context aware information associated therewith, interpreting the event through other applications based on the context aware information, and automatically modifying one or more other application(s) on the workspace based on the event interpretation.
