DESC:COMPLETE SPECIFICATION
4. Description
TITLE OF THE INVENTION:
A METHOD OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN BUTTONS IN A TOUCH SENSITIVE MONITOR OF A COMPUTER AND TESTING INSTRUMENTS
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to the method of controlling the evenness and tensile tester operations using soft buttons available in the touch monitor of a computer which is integrated to the evenness and / or tensile testers.
CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION
[0002] The present application claims priority from the Provisional Application No. 201641040383 filed on 25th Nov 2016, the full disclosure of which is hereby incorporated by reference herein.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0003] Evenness testers are meant for testing yarns, slivers and roving materials in the spinning mills. Tensile testers are meant for testing yarns, lea and fabrics for tensile and elongation properties. Generally these testing instruments are continuously operated in spinning mills round the clock to get the maximum quality information from it.
[0004] Presently, evenness and tensile testers available in the industry contains physical buttons to control various testing operations like starting the testing, stopping the testing, intervening and resuming testing operations, changing the samples, moving the parts of instruments and controlling the electrical & pneumatic operations etc. Continuous usage of such physical buttons creates wear and tear and may cause failures after prolonged usage.
[0005] The present invention eliminates such usage of evenness or tensile tester control buttons and provides a method of controlling the operations using touch buttons on a touch screen monitor.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
[0006] The main object of the present invention is to provide a method of controlling the evenness and tensile tester operations using soft buttons available in the touch sensitive monitor of a computer which is integrated to the evenness and tensile testers.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0007] Accordingly, the present invention relates to a method for operating the evenness and tensile testers using the touch sensitive monitor.
[0008] In an aspect of the present invention, the present invention eliminates the usage of hard control buttons used in evenness and tensile testers for controlling the operations. Instead, the touch sensitive monitor comprises soft buttons which is used for various testing operations like starting, stopping the test, resuming the test, enabling and disabling air suction for laying the yarn, changing the yarn position during testing, moving the parts and controlling the electrical and pneumatic operations etc. One or more such buttons are made available in the software and displayed in the touch sensitive monitor. These buttons communicates with the evenness and / or tensile testers for various operations as mentioned.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0009] The present invention is described in the detailed description and not by way of limitation, in the figures of the accompanying drawings, and in which
Figure 1 shows the method of communication between the touch sensitive monitor of the computer and the textile material tester.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0010] For the better understanding of the object, technical solution and advantage of the present invention, the present invention will be further explained in detail with respect to embodiments and accompanying drawing below. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein only be used for explaining the present invention but not used to limit the present invention.
[0011] The present invention relates to a method for controlling the operations of a textile material tester (4) for testing the textile material (5) comprising touch sensitive monitor (1), soft buttons (2) , computer(3) and textile material tester(4) wherein the textile material tester (4) is connected to a computer (3) which is again connected to a touch sensitive monitor (1) comprising a software with soft buttons (2) which controls various operations of the textile material tester (4).
[0012] In an embodiment of the present invention, the touch sensitive monitor (1) and the computer (3) are physically different components and interconnected.
[0013] As represented in figure 1, the touch sensitive monitor (1) comprises the software which contains various soft buttons (2). Each soft button (2) is meant for some operations for the textile material tester (4) which can be usually an evenness or a tensile tester. The touch sensitive monitor (1) is connected to a computer (3) which is further connected to the textile material tester (4) which tests the textile material (5) for various properties.
[0014] In another embodiment, the touch sensitive monitor (1) itself is integrated to the computer (3) which is connected to the textile material tester (4) directly.
[0015] A few examples of operations controlled by the soft buttons (2) are starting the testing, stopping the testing, changing the test material, intervening the test and resuming the test again, controlling the electrical / electronic and any pneumatic operations etc.
[0016] In certain embodiments, one or more soft buttons (2) exists in the software displayed in the touch sensitive monitor (1) and each of the soft button (2) controls one or more operations of the textile material tester (4).
,CLAIMS:We Claim:
1. A method for controlling the operations of a textile material tester (4) for testing the textile material (5) comprising touch sensitive monitor (1), soft buttons (2), computer (3) and textile material tester (4) wherein the textile material tester (4) is connected to a computer (3) which is again connected to a touch sensitive monitor (1) comprising a software with soft buttons (2) which controls various operations of the textile material tester (4).
2. The method according to claim 1 wherein the touch sensitive monitor (1) and the computer (3) are physically different components and interconnected.
3. The method according to claim 1 wherein the touch sensitive monitor (1) is integrated to the computer (3) which is connected to the textile material tester (4) directly.
4. The method according to claim 1 wherein one or more soft buttons (2) exists in the software displayed in the touch sensitive monitor (1) and each of the soft button (2) controls one or more operations of the textile material tester (4).
