, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[1] The present disclosure relates toa system and method forfacilitating communication between the healthcare industry and patients. Particularly, the present disclosure relates to a system and method for facilitating communication between doctors, pharmacists, laboratories and patients providing convenience, easy availability of medicines and easy planning of laboratories.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[2] In a known system and method, when a doctor diagnoses a patient at a doctor facility, the doctor manually writes a prescription and provides the prescription to the patient. The patient visits a pharmacist facility and shows the prescription to a pharmacist who hands over the prescribed medicines. If the doctor has suggested some biological tests to be performed in a laboratory facility, then the patient needs to visit one or more laboratories. At the laboratory facility, the patient needs to wait in long queues and also wait till the test equipment is ready or available for performing the prescribed tests. The laboratory facility does not get prior information about which tests are required to be performed and hence cannot plan resource availability of men, machines or apparatuses. Thus, the manual process of physical communication and visiting different facilities is time consuming, requiring the patient to wait in queue at the pharmacist facility and the laboratory facility, tiresome for the patient.

[3] Further, once the patient has undergone biological tests at the laboratories, the reports are required to be manually collected by the patient from the laboratory facility at a scheduled time and then take appointment and visit the doctor for further course of action. The doctor views the report of the patient and for viewing the report causes increased waiting period of other patients. Further, there is no organized system that informs the doctor, the number of patients who will be visiting the doctor facility and the history of the patients. Further, there is no organized system that maintains records of medical notes of patients which can be easily accessed without the need of manpower or paramedical staff.

[4] The patent document US2017262614 discloses a pharmacy management and administration with bedside real-time medical event data. The document does not facilitate seamless communication between the doctor facility, the pharmacist facility and the laboratory facility as opted by the patient rather focuses on the drug administration.

[5] Thus, there is a need for a system and method that facilitates communication and maintains records for the healthcare industry and patients.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
[6] Some of the objects of the arrangement of the present disclosure are aimed to ameliorate one or more problems of the prior art or to at least provide a useful alternative and are listed herein below.

A principle object of the present disclosure is to provideacommunication facilitator and record management system for the healthcare industry and patient and method for communicating and record management of healthcare industry and patient that provides seamless communications and record managements to achieve efficient resource planning and easy access to data, reduces undesired wastage of time and assists in selecting location for delivery and test.

Another object of the present disclosure is to provideacommunication facilitator and record management system for healthcare industry and patient that facilitates a doctor to introduce a prescription and the doctor or the patient communicate the prescription to the pharmacist opted by the patient and make availability of medicines at a location opted by the patient.

Still another object of the present disclosure is to provide a communication facilitator and record management system for healthcare industry and patient that facilitates a doctor to perform biological or physical tests and the doctor or the patient communicate the list of tests to the laboratories opted by the patient and make availability of resources at a location opted by the patient.

The prescription module (33) can also be provided with an upload facility to upload the prescription or a media file. Once the prescription is fed through the doctor communication device (10ai), the prescription module (33) is operable by at least one of: the doctor communication device (10ai) and the patient communication device (11a) to share introduced prescription in a predefined format to the pharmacist communication device (10ci) opted by the patient (11) with a predefined delivery option. The patient (11) can opt for the pharmacists (10cii) based on location, delivery options, delivery time, discount offer and the like which provides convenience. The predefined delivery options can be collecting the prescribed medicines from the pharmacist facility (10c), delivery at desired address by the pharmacist (10cii). Based on the delivery option selected by the patient (11), the pharmacist (10cii) arranges medicines as per shared prescription and arranges to deliver based on the selected predefined delivery option by the patient (11). Thus, the patient (11) need not wait in queues at pharmacists and avail a delivery option which saves on time and efforts. In one embodiment, the prescription module (33) is facilitated with features like touch opacity, change of text color, add strokes, erasers and other features that facilitate ease for inserting prescription.

[21] In the event when the doctor (10aii) suggests performing a test to the patient (11), the at least one of the doctor (10aii) and the patient (11) accesses the laboratory module (34). Moreover, the laboratory module (34) is operable by at least one of: the doctor communication device (10ai) and the patient communication device (11a) to share a list of laboratory test to the laboratory communication device (10ai) opted by the patient communication device (11a) and allow location selection and time selection from the patient communication device (11a).The patient (11) opts the laboratory facility (10b) based on convenience of time, distance or discount offers.

[22] The data storage (40) stores retrievable record from the facilitator and management interface (30) of the patient communication device (11a), the doctor communication device (10ai), the laboratory communication device (10bi) and the pharmacist communication device (10ci) through the backbone network (20).Typically, the data storage (40) is cloud storage.
