Claims:CLAIMS

We claim:

1. A multi-functional laptop computer 10, comprising:
a. a base 12 securing a central processing unit, said central processing unit comprising a motherboard, a processor, a hard drive, a random access memory (RAM), a disk drive, communication ports, a cooling system, a power supply, a modem, a network device, and an audio assembly;
b. at least one input device including but not limited to a keyboard 14, a touch pad;
c. a monitor 16 with display;
d. a smart printer 20;
e. a multiple ink storage 24; and
f. a smart projector 22;
wherein,
the smart printer 20 with multiple ink storage 24 enables whole system to be used as an integrated device and/or as a stand-alone device; and
the smart projector 24 enables whole system to be used as an integrated device and/or as a stand-alone device.

2. The multi-functional laptop computer according to claim 1, wherein the smart printer 20 is capable of perform black/white or color printing, scanning and copying in maximum up-to A4 size paper format.

3. The multi-functional laptop computer according to claim 1, wherein the smart projector 24 is provided with native HD screen resolution of 800*480 and supports up to 1920 x1080, supports 16k colors and 1000:1 contrast ratio.
4. The multi-functional laptop computer according to claim 1, wherein the smart projector 24 supports data formats including but not limited to MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4 - AVI/MP4, RM/RMVB, MIPEG - .AVI - 640x480 @30p; DivX - DIVX/AVI, and FLV.

5. The multi-functional laptop computer according to claim 1, wherein the smart projector 24 supports pictures in formats including but not limited to JPEG, BMP, PNG.

6. The multi-functional laptop computer according to claim 1, wherein the laptop plays WMA, MP3, M4A, AAC sound formats.

7. The multi-functional laptop computer according to claim 1, wherein the smart projector 24 is provided with sealed optical engine to prevent it from dust and have heat sink designed to withstand temperature up to 49 degree Celsius.

8. The multi-functional laptop computer according to claim 1, wherein the laptop further comprises a power management system to withstand power fluctuations and power cuts.

The following specification describes the invention:

FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to laptop computer technology. More particularly, the present invention relates to a multi-functional laptop computer having various high-end operating capabilities and features like integrated printer and projector for mobile computer use.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Computer systems generally include a computer unit and peripherals. For example, a typical computer unit has a computer housing, a motherboard, a processor, a hard drive, random access memory (RAM), a disk drive (e.g., a floppy drive, a CD-ROM drive, a DVD-ROM drive, a tape drive, etc.), communication ports, a cooling system (e.g., a fan), a power supply, a modem, a network device, an audio assembly (e.g., a sound card, a speaker, etc.), and other computing devices. The computer system may also include peripherals, such as a monitor, a printer, a scanner, a keyboard, a mouse, speakers, a disk drive or other storage devices, a modem or other communication devices, and various other standalone components. Accordingly, a typical computer system includes a variety of separate components communicating through various ports, such as serial, parallel, PS/2, video, USB, IRDA (infrared), and various other communication protocols. Moreover, each of these components consumes a considerable amount of workspace.
Conventional computer systems are generally grouped and designed for distinct operating environments, such as home use, mobile use, or commercial use. For example, a typical consumer may have a home computer, a work computer, and a laptop computer. The home and work computers are typically desktop computers, which consume a considerable amount of space and have a number of peripheral components consuming additional space. Laptop computers are relatively more compact than desktop computers, yet laptop computers generally have limited resources and are often inconvenient to use in the typical non-mobile working environment. Moreover, each computer system costs a substantial amount of money, while the consumer is not gaining any additional resources other than cumulative resources designed for particular working environments.
Nowadays, Laptop computers have become highly popular among mobile computer users due to their mobility and multi-media capabilities. Because laptop exist in various different places such as many companies are able to conduct business and advertise products, people are able to talk to relatives far and near, students are able to do research for school and college works, online ordering is made possible, international online virtual office meetings are made possible, some artwork using adobe photoshop for instance can be accomplished, medical records are able to be digitized on various servers to help recover patient information faster for when they make an appointment, many people are able to calculate large annual figures using quickbooks etc., employment is possible for people especially in the IT field, social media sites like quora, online gaming (MMORPG) is possible, music downloads are made possible, people are able to save time, money and gas going to a store to buy items, when they can browse products online (since online website stores are open 24/7).
Now, with the continuous improvement of science and technology, the use of laptops more and more popular, it has become an indispensable part of life or work. However, conventional laptop computers may lack any of various high-end operating functions such as the facility to display media like a projector and may also lack printing capability.
Further, regardless of the type of computer system, a significant amount of workspace is consumed due to the conventional orientation of computer components. For example, desktop units have a large footprint in both horizontal and vertical orientations. Monitors also have a large footprint, which generally increases with the viewable area. Laptop computers consume less space than desktop computers, but are intended for mobile use. For many users, the display screen, the keyboard, and other features of laptop computers are difficult or inconvenient to use. Accordingly, laptop computers are often connected to standard monitors, keyboards, and other desktop devices during non-mobile operation. Moreover, the laptop itself covered a considerably large footprint when attached to any external device such as printer, projector, etc.
Therefore, as we can deduce from the current state of art that the further improvement can be included into present laptop computer system considering adding means of in-built printer and projector for mobile use.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is to provide a multi-functional laptop computer having various high-end operating capabilities and features like integrated printer and projector for mobile computer use.

Yet another object of the invention is to provide a multi-functional laptop computer which can be used as an integrated and/or as a stand-alone printing device.

Yet another object of the invention is to provide a multi-functional laptop computer which can be used as an integrated and/or as a stand-alone projecting device.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention provides a laptop computer technology, and more particularly, the present invention relates to a multi-functional laptop computer having various high-end operating capabilities and features like integrated printer and projector for mobile computer use.
Yet in another embodiment, a multi-functional laptop computer comprises of a central processing unit comprises of: a motherboard, a processor, and a hard drive, random access memory (RAM), a disk drive (e.g., a floppy drive, a CD-ROM drive, a DVD-ROM drive, a tape drive, etc.), communication ports, a cooling system (e.g., a fan), a power supply, a modem, a network device, an audio assembly (e.g., a sound card, a speaker, etc.), a monitor, and other computing devices.

Yet in another embodiment, a multi-functional laptop computer comprises of a smart printer with multiple ink storage enabling whole system to be used as an integrated device and/or as a stand-alone device.

Yet in another embodiment, a multi-functional laptop computer comprises of a smart printer capable of perform black/white or color printing, scanning and copying in maximum up-to A4 size paper format.

Yet in another embodiment, a multi-functional laptop computer comprises of a smart projector enabling whole system to be used as an integrated device and/or as a stand-alone device.

Yet in another embodiment, a multi-functional laptop computer comprises of a smart projector provided with native HD screen resolution of 800*480 and supports up to 1920 x 1080, supports 16k colors and 1000:1 contrast ratio. Further, it supports such as, but not limited to like all the video audio formats such as MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4 - AVI/MP4, RM/RMVB, MIPEG - .AVI - 640x480 @30p; DivX - DIVX/AVI, and FLV. While for pictures JPEG, BMP, PNG etc. are supported, it can play WMA, MP3, M4A, AAC sound formats.

Yet in another embodiment, a multi-functional laptop computer comprises of a smart projector with sealed optical engine to prevent it from any dust gathering inside it and have heat sink designed to withstand temperature up to 49 degree Celsius.

Yet in another embodiment, a multi-functional laptop computer comprises of a power management system to withstand power fluctuations and power cuts.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention will now be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings in which a preferred embodiment of the invention is shown. This invention may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as being limited to the embodiment set forth herein. Rather, the embodiment is provided so that this disclosure will be thorough, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art.

Fig. 1 shows the perspective view of multi-functional laptop 10 highlighting different parts with integrated printer 20. A multi-functional laptop 10 includes laptop base 12 and a laptop monitor 16 which is pivotally attached to the laptop base 12. The laptop base 12 includes a motherboard and processor which controls the various functions of the multi-functional laptop 10. A keyboard 14, which may be a standard computer keyboard, is provided on the laptop base 12. The keyboard 14 may include a touch pad. Further, at least one speaker 22 may be provided on the laptop base 12 and/or the laptop monitor 16 and at least one media drive, which may be a CD drive, for example, may be provided in the laptop base 12. A camera 18 may be provided on the laptop monitor 16. The integrated printer 20 is provided in the laptop base 12 and connected with the processor to get output from the multi-functional laptop 10. This printer 20 can help to take print out from smart phone which can communicate to multi-functional laptop 10 through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and ready to perform all tasks like printing, scanning and copying in maximum up-to A4 size.

Fig. 2 shows the side view of multi-functional laptop 10 highlighting integrated printer and projector. The integrated printer 20 is provided in the laptop base 12 and connected with the processor to get output from the multi-functional laptop 10. This printer 20 can help to take print out from smart phone which can communicate to multi-functional laptop 10 through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and ready to perform all tasks like printing, scanning and copying in maximum up-to A4 size. The integrated projector 22 is provided on the laptop monitor 16 with native HD screen resolution of 800*480 and supports up to 1920 x 1080, supports 16k colors and 1000:1 contrast ratio. Further, it supports such as, but not limited to like all the video audio formats such as MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4 - AVI/MP4, RM/RMVB, MIPEG - .AVI - 640x480 @30p; DivX - DIVX/AVI, and FLV. While for pictures JPEG, BMP, PNG etc. are supported, it can play WMA, MP3, M4A, AAC sound formats.

Fig. 3 shows the side view of multi-functional laptop 10 highlighting integrated multiple printer ink storage 24. The integrated printer multiple printer ink storage 24 is provided in the laptop base 12 and can store inkjet inks of different color to enable multi-functional laptop 10 to print in multi-color.
