Abstract: The system (100) includes a mold (102) and a Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel (104). The mold (102) is configured to make a Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel. The Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel (104) includes a gel coat (302), a resin infused Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) (304), a Polyurethane Foam (PUF) (306) and a resin infused Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) (308) as an outer layer. The Polyurethane Foam (PUF) (306) is a Rigid Polyurethane Foam and acts as a central thermal core. The Polyurethane Foam (PUF) (306) is bonded externally on both sides with 1-3 mm thickness of the resin infused Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) (304) & (308). This invention facilitates the customization, Strength and Durability, reduces weight, Thermal Insulation, Corrosion Resistance, Surface Finish and Protection, and Ease of Manufacturing.

1. A system (100) for Composite Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel, wherein the system (100) comprises:
a mold (102) that configured to make a Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel; and
a Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel (104);

The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the mold (102) is configured to provide a desired shape and form for the Composite Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel by providing a template or a cast into which the liquid or semi-liquid mixture of resin and reinforced fibers is poured or placed.

The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the mold (102) made from various materials like metal, composite materials, or even certain types of plastics, uses release coating at the inner side of the mold (102), a resin and fiber mixture is placed into the mold, undergoes a curing or hardening process, aided by heat or pressure, to create the solid panel in the shape defined by the mold, the Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel (104) is removed from the mold (102), resulting in a finished Composite Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel with the desired characteristics.

The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel (104) comprises a gel coat (302) with a thin visible layer, a resin infused Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) (304), a Polyurethane Foam (PUF) (306) and a resin infused Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) (308) an outer layer.

The Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel as claimed in claim 1, wherein, the Polyurethane Foam (PUF) (306) a thickness ranges from 10 mm to 100 mm, acted as a thermal core, bonded externally on both sides with 1-3 mm thickness of the resin infused Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) (304) & (308), the gel coat (302) is made of applying paint on the either side or one side of the resin infused Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) (304) & (308).

The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel (104) the total thickness of the Composite Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel ranges from 12 mm to 205 mm, offer thermal insulation protection from ambient temperature to elevated temperature of 60°C with a reduction of temperature gradient of at least 10°C depending on the environment and applied insulation thickness.
7. A method of making Composite Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel, wherein the method comprises:
applying, using a mold (102), a release gel;
pouring, using the mold (102), a resin infused Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) (304);
Pouring, using the mold (102), a Polyurethane Foam (PUF) (306);
Pouring, using the mold (102), a resin infused Glass Fibre Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) (304);
applying, using equipment, a required pressure and heat;
releasing, a Composite Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel from the mold (102),; and
applying, a thin gel coat (302) on both or any one side of the Composite Polyurethane Foam and Fiber-Reinforced Plastic panel.
