Abstract: A composite profile (2, 9) for doors, windows or facade elements, has a first met-al profile (3, 6), a second metal profile (4, 7) and at least one insulating profile (5, 8) which is arranged between the metal profiles (3, 4, 6, 7) and connects the metal profiles (3, 4, 6, 7) to one another, wherein the first metal profile (3, 6) has a connecting region (33, 63) on a side (32, 62) facing the second metal profile (4, 7) for connection to a first connecting region (51, 81) of the at least one insulat-ing profile (5, 8) and the second metal profile (4, 7) has, on a side (42, 82) facing the first metal profile (3, 6), a connecting region (43, 73) for connection to a sec-ond connecting region (52, 82) of the at least one insulating profile (5, 8), the connecting regions (33, 43, 51, 52, 63, 73, 81, 82) being designed as plug-in and/or latching connections, with the connecting regions (33, 43, 51, 52, 63, 73, 81, 82) extending from or plug-in and/or latching elements (34, 53) or plug-in and/or latching receptacles (36, 44, 54, 64) extending into the sides (32, 42, 62, 72) facing one another, at least one of the plug-in and/or latching connections having at least one pressing element (35, 65) for additional pressing of the plug-in and/or latching connection.
