Composition Comprising Andrographis Paniculata Extract, And Vitis Vinifera L. Extract, And Uses Thereof
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a composition comprising Andrographis paniculata extract, and Vitis vinifera L. extract, obtained from various plant parts, which at particular w/w ratios is particularly useful in reduction of intracellular cholesterol levels. This finds potential application in nature based medicaments and lifestyle enhancing edible products for better health.

Specification
Claims:1. A composition comprising:
a. Andrographis paniculata extract; and
b. Vitis vinifera L. extract,
wherein Andrographis paniculata extract to Vitis vinifera L. extract w/w ratio is in the range of 1:0.16-1:1.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein Andrographis paniculata extract to Vitis vinifera L. extract w/w ratio is 1:0.37.
3. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein Andrographis paniculata extract weight concentration in said composition is in the range of 0.00025-0.00075%, and Vitis vinifera L. extract weight concentration in said composition is in the range of 0.000125-0.00025%.
4. The composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein Andrographis paniculata extract weight concentration in said composition is 0.0005%, and Vitis vinifera L. extract weight concentration in said composition is 0.000187%.
5. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein said Andrographis paniculata extract is obtained from stems and leaves; said Vitis vinifera L. extract is obtained from seeds.
6. The composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-5, further comprising suitable carriers, diluents, and excipients.
7. A method of preparing a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-6.
8. A method of inhibiting intracellular cholesterol levels, said method comprising:
a. obtaining a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-6; and
b. contacting said composition with cells comprising cholesterol,
wherein said method inhibits intracellular cholesterol levels.
9. A composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-6 for use in preparing oral formulations for inhibition of intracellular cholesterol.
