Composition Comprising N,N Dicarboxymethylglutamic Acid, At Least One Fatty Alcohol, At Least One Fatty Acid, At Least One Polyol, At Least One Alkaline Agent And Optionally At Least One Dye

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for treating keratin fibres, notably human keratin fibres such as the hair, comprising N,N- dicarboxymethylglutamic acid, a salt thereof, solvates thereof and/or solvates of the salts thereof, at least one fatty alcohol, at least one fatty acid, at least one polyol and at least one alkaline agent, in a total content of greater than or equal to 5% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition, and optionally at least one dye. The present invention also relates to a process for dyeing and/or lightening keratin fibres, such as the hair, in which the composition as described previously, and optionally comprising at least one dye chosen from oxidation dyes, direct dyes and mixtures thereof, is applied to said fibres. The present invention also relates to the use of the composition according to the invention for dyeing and/or lightening keratin fibres such as the hair.
