Compressed Fluid Discharge Control Device

Abstract: This compressed fluid discharge control device (10) is provided with a diaphragm valve (40). When an opening/closing operation member (14) is operated, a pilot chamber opening/closing valve (92) opens to open a pilot chamber (52). As a result, pressure within a valve chamber (34) becomes higher than that in the pilot chamber (52), and the diaphragm valve (40) separates from a valve seat (39). Then, compressed fluid previously accumulated in a holding chamber (32) flows into a discharge passage (36) through the valve chamber (34) and is discharged from the discharge opening of the discharge passage (36).

Specification

Claim 1. A compressed fluid discharge control device (10) for controlling discharge of a compressed fluid,
the compressed fluid discharge control device (10) including formed therein a valve chamber (34), the valve chamber (34) being interposed between a supply path (22, 30) configured to supply the compressed fluid and a discharge path (36) having a discharge port configured to discharge the compressed fluid, the valve chamber (34) being provided with a valve seat (39),
the compressed fluid discharge control device (10) including:
a diaphragm valve (40) configured to, by seating on or separating from the valve seat (39), block or establish communication between the supply path (22, 30) and the discharge path (36), the diaphragm valve including a pilot passage (48, 50) formed therein;
a pilot chamber opening and closing valve (92) configured to open or close a pilot chamber (52) into which the compressed fluid is introduced via the pilot passage (48, 50) from the supply path (22, 30); and
an opening and closing operation member (14) configured to open and close the pilot chamber opening and closing valve (92),
wherein, by the pilot chamber opening and closing valve (92) being opened to thereby open the pilot chamber (52), the diaphragm valve (40) separates from the valve seat (39) to thereby establish communication between the supply path (22, 30) and the discharge path (36), and

when the pilot chamber opening and closing valve (92) is closed, or when supply of the compressed fluid from the supply path (22, 30) is stopped, the diaphragm valve (40) seats on the valve seat (39) to thereby close the pilot chamber (52) and then communication between the supply path (22, 30) and the discharge path (36) is blocked.
Claim 2. The compressed fluid discharge control device (10) according to claim 1, wherein a storage chamber (32) configured to store the compressed fluid is interposed between the supply path (22, 30) and the valve chamber (34).
Claim 3. The compressed fluid discharge control device (10) according to claim 2, wherein the storage chamber (32) is a variable capacity type inner chamber whose capacity is variable.
Claim 4. The compressed fluid discharge control device (10) according to claim 2 or 3, further including a flow rate adjusting valve (26) configured to adjust a flow rate of the compressed fluid that is introduced into the storage chamber (32) from the supply path (22, 30).
Claim 5. The compressed fluid discharge control device (10) according to claim 2 or 3, further including a flow rate changing valve (154) configured to change an inflow rate of the compressed fluid to the storage chamber (32) by changing an opening degree of the supply path (22, 30) by a valve section (160, 162, 164).

Claim 6. The compressed fluid discharge control device (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, further including a housing (12) that has formed therein the valve chamber (34), the pilot chamber (52), and the discharge path (36), and that is provided with the diaphragm valve (40) and the pilot chamber opening and closing valve (92),
wherein the opening and closing operation member (14) is a lever (14).
Claim 7. The compressed fluid discharge control device (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the pilot chamber opening and closing valve (92) establishes or blocks communication between the pilot chamber (52) and the discharge path (36).
Claim 8. The compressed fluid discharge control device (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 7, further including:
a pressing member (78) configured to press the pilot chamber opening and closing valve (92) in an opening direction when the opening and closing operation member (14) has been operated; and
an elastic member (106) configured to elastically bias the pressing member (78) in a closing direction of the pilot chamber opening and closing valve (92).
Claim 9. The compressed fluid discharge control device (10) according to any one of claims 1 to 8, further including a displacement amount restricting unit (201)

including an abutting member (204) configured to be displaceable relative to the diaphragm valve (40), the displacement amount restricting unit being configured to, by the abutting member (204) abutting on the diaphragm valve (40), restrict displacement of the diaphragm valve (40).
Claim 10. The compressed fluid discharge control device (10) according to claim 9, further including a lock unit (208a, 242) configured to position and fix the abutting member (204).
