Abstract: A CNG cylinder mounting arrangement comprises several CNG cylinders (l) that can be mounted on a frame connected to cross member of a CNG vehicle. A cylinder mounting bracket (2) can be provided on the frame, and two-piece mounting straps (3) can be configured to be fitted on the cylinder mounting bracket (2). A solenoid cylinder valve (4) can be provided at one end of the cylinders (1) for controlling the f l ow of gas. Three corrugated hoses (5) can be connected to the cylinder valve (4) for venting the gas, where the corrugated hoses (5) are further connected to a set of nipples (6). These nipples (6) can be mounted on a floor of the CNG vehicle for holding the corrugated hoses (5) and high pressure pipes (11) and/or receptacle (8) of a ventilation system. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the number of pipes utilized for the ventilation system in the CNG vehicle.

PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION The following specification particularly describes the invention.
FIELD OF INVENTION
This present invention is related to CNG system and more particularly CNG mounting assembly and ventilation system thereof.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
Generally CNG vehicle having cylinder which is mounted on long member with the help of mounting bracket and strap are used to hold the cylinder in position. The said straps are tightened at the end of it by stud means which is difficult to access because two ends of said straps are inside the cylinder surface. In order to make the two ends of said straps accessible, more space is required between two cylinders which are not desirable due to packaging constraint.
For providing ventilation system in the CNG vehicle, separate pipes are used which are connected to the said cylinder valve which requires more connection points on the said cylinder valve which leads to more chance of gas leakage. For venting the gas in atmosphere separate pipe is used which is provided on Body In Wide (BIW).
Moreover the venting connection through pipe is required between high pressure regulator and said cylinder valve which leads to more connections and further increases risk of gas leakage.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
In accordance with this invention, CNG mounting assembly and ventilation system comprises; CNG cylinder (1) mounted on the frame connected to cross member, cylinder mounting bracket (2) provided on the said frame, two piece mounting strap (3) configured to be fitted on the said mounting bracket, solenoid cylinder valve (4) provided at one end of said cylinder for controlling the flow of gas, at least three corrugated hose (5), one is connected between two said cylinder valve and two are connected at other end of the cylinder valve for venting the gas, at least two nipples (6) mounted on the floor of vehicle and said corrugated hose connected to one end of said nipple for holding the said corrugated hose, high pressure pipes(ll) , receptacle(8) disposed in fuel filler for filling the gas in the said
cylinder comprises pressure gauge (9), said receptacle (8) mounted on the mounting bracket (10), said high pressure pipe (11) routed beneath the floor to release the gas to atmosphere, high pressure regulator (7) to regulate gas pressure which is mounted on LH side long member with the help of mounting bracket towards the front end of vehicle to maintain the minimum specified distance between engine and regulator to reduce knocking, high pressure filter (12) for filtering the high pressure gas connected between said receptacle and said regulator, low pressure filter connected between said regulator and engine which supply low pressure gas to the engine through rubber hose.
Regulator heating system provided from engine to avoid the freezing of gas in regulator.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
