BACKGROUND

[002] Health care providers offer services to the patients on daily basis. As patients grow older, chronic conditions develop and fall ill to serious health conditions, and require more frequent access to doctors, medicine, hospitals etc. Various health monitoring devices are known in the field of medical instrumentation for monitoring, recording, and reporting physiological signals. It is a challenge to work towards regular improvement in sustaining patient’s health. A sedentary lifestyle is a primary concern for today’s young and old alike given the changing circumstances of the way people deal with their regular schedule. The patients communicating with doctors and caretakers are facing difficulties in emergency situations.

[003] At present some health monitoring devices available which are wearable, but do not monitoring any health information. Instead, the users must press an emergency button to notify the monitoring center of an event. This is intended for situations such as when the user falls and needs outside assistance, especially suited for independently living elders. These systems have distinct disadvantage that they require active participation from the user.

[004] In the light of aforementioned discussion there exists a need for certain system with novel methodologies that would overcome or ameliorate the above mentioned disadvantages.
