The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed.
FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention relates to an interactive travel planner and more particularly to a sacrosanct one stop interactive complete travel planning method and system which does away with the need for multiple booking separately for hotels, bus, train, activities, holidays, transfers, cruises, charters, flights and other travel necessities for B2B, B2C and B2B2C networks.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In the present world every business requires a lot of travelling to different places across the globe for business, leisure or a combination of both. Businessmen have to travel very frequently in most cases to the different business capitals of the world and also other places all over the world to meet their client and business partners. Further with the promotion of tourism worldwide, people today are frequently traveling on world tours and visiting places for holidays (business/pleasure). Hotels, Airliners, cruise liners, trains and bus operators provide varied offers and travel packages to enhance business all over the year. There are also rebates for regular travelers and frequent fliers as in aircrafts. Hotel rooms all over the world charge differently depending on category of service and the market based on varied star rating and also based on seasons all over the year to cater to the needs of the customers.

It becomes a very tedious task for the travelers/ travelers to check on every offer available and select the best one suiting ones needs. Further, gathering all the information about a place of visit is almost impossible as the information is not collectively available at any one single place. Travelers often spend extra not knowing that better or similar services were available at cheaper rates. Even for regular travelers it is quite impossible to check all the rates available and the best suited offer for his needs. Further the traveler lacks vital information on other places of visit in and around his desired location and the best route to avail for his tour. Families possessing adults and kids in multiplicity fail to ascertain how to choose the proper hotel room for their accommodation.
Booking individually all the services is a very tedious task and can take days to complete. Payments are also cumbersome as one has to pay at multiple points and through multiple payments means as and when it is required. Thus, there existed a long felt need in the art to provide a one-stop travel planner for a traveler which renders booking platform for the entire tour at one point.
Further it had been a problem as there was no single point from which all the related information can be collected relating to a tour like stay, places of visit, airlines, available guides, and the booking can be done in a sacrosanct manner. It is further a problem that a frequent traveler has to book at different sites and places each time and has to provide all details all over again which results in duplication. Thus there was a need for a system which could store the authorized personal details of prior bookings and perform subsequent bookings on future travel. There was also a need to add/delete online different items to/from a travel plan prior to booking.

The interactive travel planner as according to the present invention meets the aforementioned long felt needs that existed in the prior system.
All through the specification the words "tour", "travel", "server", "module", "booking", "planner", "cruise", "flight", "bus", "train" and "hotel" has been used to include all similar, and related terms that are present in the art which would be clear to persons skilled in the art. Restriction/Limitation if any, referred to in the specification, is solely by way of example and understanding the present invention.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The present invention provides an interactive travel planner and more particularly to a one stop interactive complete travel planning method and system which does away with the need for multiple booking separately for flights, hotels, bus, train, activities, entertainment, cruises, transfers, holidays, special offers, deals, discount, promo codes, loyalty vouchers etc and other travel necessities.
It is another object of the said invention to provide an interactive travel planning system which provides end to end booking solution to users for the entire travel.
It is a further object of the of the said invention to provide an interactive travel planning system which ensures one time payment via a choice of different channels of payment for the entire booking operation.
It is yet another object of the invention to provide a method for travel planning for furnishing integrated travel resources to users relating to different packages for

booking hotel room type, airline ticket, airline type, class type, activities, entertainment, train, bus and/or cruise.
It is a further object of the present invention to provide a method for travel planning for furnishing integrated travel resources to users which allows the user to choose from different combination packages which saves cost, time and ensures better planning of tour by users.
It is another object of the said invention to provide an interactive travel planning system for furnishing integrated travel resources which provide additional information of nearby sightseeing locations, accordingly planning the tour including such sites.
It is yet a further object of the said invention to provide an interactive travel planner which provides all the details on boarding, departure, location and time during planning as well as in a summary page in the said planner.
It is further object of the present invention to add/delete online different items to/from a travel plan prior to booking.
It is another object of the said invention to provide option to save the booking / itinerary as a time limit or as a quote which can be retrieved and repriced and incase of availability being unavailable, alternative choice of service including upgrades will be provided.

How the foregoing objects are achieved and the other aspects of the present invention will be clear from the following description, which is purely by way of understanding and not by way of any sort of limitation.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses a high performance computing cluster with dedicated application environments for managing user inputs and its related search parameters comprising, a facility of servers, operatively associating a means for storage of data to said servers, installing atleast one user machine for receiving user inputs and a host machine for monitoring the overall planning process, selecting different search parameters as inputs and/or inserting a query by users, matching said user input with said stored data present in the form of predetermined modules based on search criteria, generation of results based on said matching data and repeating the above steps on various sub modules in said stored data until user booking is completed.
More specifically the present invention describes a method for travel planning for furnishing integrated travel resources to users, said method comprising, providing a facility of servers, operatively associating a means for storage of data to said servers, installing atleast one user machine for receiving user inputs and a host machine for monitoring the overall planning process, selecting different search parameters as inputs and/or inserting a query by users, displaying the users different packages, selection of a category by users based on varied star rating, receiving further inputs from users on hotel detail, flight, train, bus and/or cruise detail, reviewing the entire travel package for finalization, subsequent input of passenger details and booking of the entire travel package by said user.

In accordance to some preferred embodiments of the present invention of the disclosed interactive travel planner:
- said search parameters comprises of destination, cities, departure date, number of nights, hotel and room combinations and whether with and/or without airfare;
- said category of travel package comprises of 1 star, 2 star, 3 star, 4 star and 5 star rated categories;
- said sub modules comprises of hotel details, cruise details, train details, flight details and/or bus details for planning the entire travel;
- said user inputs passenger details in user machine, which are required for booking and are stored and auto recalled on subsequent login;
- said booking is done by any of credit/debit card, cheque, draft and/or through internet banking means;
- said servers are connected to each other and/or users through LAN and/or WAN network;
- said method further comprises online addition/deletion of itemized choices
to/from a travel plan, prior to booking.
The present invention further discloses an interactive travel planning system providing integrated travel resources to users, said system comprising, atleast a facility of servers, a means for storage of data Operatively associated to said servers, atleast one user machine for receiving user inputs and a host machine for

monitoring the overall planning process, an input means selecting different search parameters and/or inserting a query by users, a means for matching said user input with said stored data present in the form of predetermined modules based on search criteria, a means for generation of results based on said matching data and repeating the process on various sub modules in said stored data, means for receiving passenger details and subsequent booking by the user.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The following describes the present invention, purely for the sake of understanding of the present invention and not by way of any sort of limitation.
The present invention provides an interactive travel planner and more particularly to a one stop interactive complete travel planning method and system which does away with the need for multiple booking separately for hotels, bus, train, airline, activities, entertainment, transfer, cruise, holiday and other travel necessities.
The present invention discloses a method for travel planning for furnishing integrated travel resources to users, by providing a facility of servers, operatively associating a means for storage of data. Atleast one user machine for receiving user inputs user database on host machines for monitoring the overall planning process is installed. The user inputs by selecting different search parameters as inputs and/or inserting a query, which in turn displays the users different packages. Subsequent selection of a category is done by users based on varied star rating. Further inputs are received from users on sight seeing, hotel detail, flight, train, bus and/or cruise detail, allowing the flexibility of alternatives / upgrading / reprising, reviewing the entire travel package for finalization, with subsequent input of passenger details and booking of the entire travel package by said user.
The present invention discloses an easy to use B2C, B2B2C and B2C step by step' tip planner, builder and booking engine with real time inventory from direct suppliers, wholesalers, consolidators, GDS, private database etc which displays holidays, travel products and services dynamically and allowing the user to make

changes, add and combine services which can be sorted by recommendation, best price, interests, popularity offers.
The invention provides the user a detailed but simple browser based interface to create his / her own customized holiday package.
The system has intuitive ability built in to provide options and alternatives, with upgrade facilities, for all travel products and services so as to allow the user to add, combine as many services as he might wish in a logical fashion. The trip services can be held on time limit and be repriced once user is ready to buy.
Complicates customized itineraries with a large number of services can be built with allocations, number of pricing and deliverables.
The complexities of clubbing multiple services such as flight, hotel, activities, transfers and more are behind the scene, allowing the user to have full control of the holiday package. This is compiled where the user does not have to worry about the conflicting dates or overlapping services, if any conflict arises between the services the system alert's the user. This helps in creating a precise holiday package with all the selected services fit like a jigsaw puzzle.
The user's experience is enhanced and prompted with information such as things to do, shop, dine, weather, advise, currency, blogs, expert opinions, ratings etc. Most of all in a single screen, the user gets all needs satisified with a dynamic real live experience website.
The invention also provides a similar module for an agent to prepare a customized holiday for a client with an inbuilt calculator with pricing, rules and prompts to up

sell, cross sell and take care of deviations with options of quotations. The agent is able to plan, build and book in real time.
This invention is backed by operations and fulfillment modules including suppliers and payment, financials and MIS.
The system uses the parameters entered by the user to search the relevant packages in the 'private database' and 'third party database' (using xml web - services through GDS, extranet) such as direct suppliers, consolidators, wholesale operator, GDS, private database, etc and displays the same by recommended, best price, popularity, interest, special offers, etc.

The details on working of the interactive travel planning system which is further explained with reference to Figure 1 which illustrates a self explanatory flow chart of the said interactive tour planner is provided as follows:
The user firstly logs in to a user machine which may be a computer or any other electronic interface for gathering the desired inputs. The user views a search page which provides the following parameters -
● Destination
● Cities (More than one can be selected)
● Departure Date

● No of Nights
● With Airfare / Without Airfare
● Interest
● Rooming Combination based on no of Adult and Children
● Deals / offers/ discounts / loyalty / gift vouchers.
The user selects the desired parameters and clicks on the search button.
The results are displayed in a subsequent page after the planner and search engine performs a through matching of all its databases which act as the data storage means associated to the servers and generates a result for the user query in the following format. The packages are displayed based on the search criteria with single or multiple options to sort the package based on -

Before the planner proceeds with further searches the user needs to specify the category of service which he wants to opt to such as the 1 star, 2 star, 3 star, 4 star and varied 5 star facilities such as 5 star chain, palace and boutique categories and / or categories such as first class hotel depending upon the rating and nomenclature of the destination / recommendation site.
The user can select any one of the package/category for any one of the package cost category. The user can click on any of the package link for detail content of the each package. Upon selection of the package the user can make deviation to the package, by if an exact package match is not found. In addition to it, each package shows the cost for per person and total no of passengers based on the rooming combinations. The currency display on the screen is based on the market supplier and transaction for which the packages are displayed.
On finalization of the category various sub modules and search parameters are generated which helps the user to choose from the option of hotel with alternative hotels and room types, transit options through flight, cruise, train bus etc with upgrades / deals, activities which can be selected on each day along with notification of closed date / day with intuitive direction. The following discusses them in larger detail:

Hotel Details:
This page shows the hotel/upgrade room, redeem points, frequent flyer miles, etc. to each city which is part of the package.
Clicking on the 'change hotel' will get the alternative list of hotel from Private, Third Party Direct Hotel Supplier, Consolidators, Wholesale Suppliers, GDS database which shows the upgrade room, redeem points, frequent flyer miles, etc.
Once the alternative hotels are displayed the user can select any hotel and select 'upgrade/change' to any room type. If there are more than one city the user can select the next city and repeat the earlier flow of change hotel.
Cruise Page
A package can include cruise as part of the itinerary or a cruise service can be
added to the package.
To get the cruise result, the following search field needs to be selected:

Train Page
A package may consists entirely of Train journey or the train service can be added to package between countries / cities.
To get a train result, the following search field needs to be selected:

Flight Detail Page
In case the package does not include flight, the user has the option to add a flight to their itinerary. The user can amend existing flight service for another choice of flight, upgrade of class / change in departure date / different routing / frequent flyer / upgrades/ loyalty points. The user also has the option to remove flight from an existing package.
To get the flight result, the following search field needs to be selected:

Once the user searches by clicking the search button, the flight details are retrieved from Private database, Third Party Direct Supplier, Consolidators, Wholesale Suppliers, GDS database.
Flight holiday packages are also available. Modules have been designed for airlines websites to combine accommodation, attractions, transfers, guides, entertainment choosing to form holiday packages.
The search result can be sorted by:

Transit Options:

A user can add / remove transfer between itinerary cities. The mode of transfer is as follows:

To get a Bus service result, the following search field needs to be selected:

Once the user search by clicking the search button, the bus details are retrieved from Private database, Third Party Direct Supplier, Consolidators, Wholesale Suppliers, GDS database.
After the bus details are displayed on the search result the user need to select:

Some add on features associated to these sub modules are presented below: Visa / Insurance Page
Visas are added to an existing package as a mandatory service or kept as a supplementary service for outbound packages. The user can remove / amend the visa service based on their requirement. The user can change the visa requirement by selecting the passenger type such as adult / child / infant and numbers of days.
Insurance is added to an existing package as a mandatory service or kept as supplementary service. Similar to visa the user can remove / amend the visa service based on their requirement. The user can change the insurance requirement by selecting the passenger type such as adult / senior citizen / child /infant. The user can also extend the insurance by adding additional days to the existing package. The user can also use our insurance vendor or their own. If the user uses another insurance provider, the user can send the details later of insurance provider and the insurance policy unique number for emergency details.
Figure 2a and 2b illustrates a flow chart of the various sub menus of the interactive travel planer under the Deviation menu bar, which is self explanatory in nature, as explained in the ongoing paragraphs of this description.
Additional Night Page
In this step the user can add / reduce or remove nights to individual cities. Based on the selection the city gets added in to the price calculator. The

package amount dynamically changes based on the selected cities and the no of night.
Optional Sightseeing / Activities/ Entertainment Page
A user can add / remove or amend an existing service for a selected day of an itinerary. The service can be a meal / transfer / sightseeing / event. A service such as sightseeing / meal / event can include:
• Transfer such as seat-in-coach, chauffer drive car or a self drive car.
• Transfer with guide / without guide
• Guide with the option of different language.
• Choice of car category / coach.
• Type of car. For e.g. (Honda SUV)
• Type of coach
• Entrance Fee to movement, show, theater etc.
• Lunch included
To add a service to a selected day. the user needs to select the following:
● Day of the package
● Pick up point
● Drop off point
● Type of Transfer
● Pick up time
● Drop off time
The service is added to the day, if there is no existing service for the duration of the day. If it clashes with the existing service, an alert is displayed to the user with

the option to select the service for next available part of the day or add it to another day of the itinerary. Any existing service can be moved to other day / duration of the itinerary only if the available part of the day is free. A service cannot be added to a particular day in a city even if the duration is free. At any given point a service can be removed from the package.
Figure 3 illustrates a flowchart explaining the various steps involved in the booking of the interactive tour planner which is self explanatory in nature.
The booking process is finally concluded with the help of the following options:
Review Page
In this page the user gets a detail review of the package which includes services part of the package. It also provides the detail view of the additional service added by the user to the package. The user has the option to amend / remove services which are part of the existing package. Figure 5 proves a detailed flowchart of the steps for amendment as stated.
Passenger Detail Page
In this page the user fills in the mandatory form fields details required for the booking process. If the user is already logged into the website, these fields are auto-populated if the user had booked any service earlier. If the user had add services such as visa / insurance / flight, he would be required to assign the service to the respective passenger name.

The user can also provide the personal details related to:
● Birthday
● Anniversary
● Honeymoon
● Wheel Chair
● VIP
● Others
In all services special note can be added.
Figure 4a, 4b, and 4c illustrated the various payment gateways/channels of the interactive tour planner. Figure 4a explains in details the process of booking by making payment through various channels like Net banking, cash card, paymate, credit/debit card, cheque etc. Figure 4b and 4c explains the process flows of payment for corporate and jetescapes.
Billing / Payment Detail Page
The user needs to fill in the billing detail page, along with the delivery address
if it's different from the billing details.
The user can enter avail the discount (if applicable) by entering the promo
code and validating it.
The user has the option either to make part payment of the total amount or
make full payment and book the package.
The user has the option to make the payment via offline mode, such as cash
collection.
It supports all exisiting / current and scalable to accept and future based
payment medium / mechanism.

The user has multiple option to make payment for booking the package such as but not limited to:

● Pay through mobile
● DD/Cheque
● Wire transfer
● RTGS

● ITZ

● Interbank Transfers
In case the user chooses to may payment by Credit / Debit Card, he has following non-limiting options to pay:

After selecting the option to pay by Credit / Debit card the user will be redirected to the payment gateway for making payments. The user is presented with the bank payment page, where he / she enter the payment details and after verification and successful transaction the user is redirected to the original website.

In case of B2B there are additional option of payment such as deposits, bank guarantee and more.
Booking Summary Page
On successful transaction based on the mode of payment, the booking id is generated and email is sent to the user with the booking details.
Figure 6 illustrates the cancellation process of the interactive tour plane. From the figure which is self-explanatory shows how cancellation is fulfilled on deduction of nominal token charges.
The present invention has been described with reference to a flow chart drawings and preferred embodiments, purely for the sake of understanding and not by way of any limitation and the present invention includes all legitimate developments within the scope of what has been described herein before and claimed in the appended claims.

WE CLAIM:
1. A method for travel planning for furnishing integrated travel resources to users, said method comprising, providing a facility of servers, operatively associating a means for storage of data to said servers, installing atleast one user machine for receiving user inputs and a host machine for monitoring the overall planning process, selecting different search parameters as inputs and/or inserting a query by users, displaying the users different packages, selection of a category by users based on varied star rating, receiving further inputs from users on hotel detail, flight, train, bus and/or cruise detail, reviewing the entire travel package for finalization. subsequent input of passenger details and booking of the entire travel package by said user.
3. The method for travel planning as claimed in claims 1 and 2, wherein said search parameters comprises of destination, cities, departure date, number of nights, hotel and room combinations and whether with and/or without airfare.

4. The method for travel planning as claimed in claims 1 and 2, wherein said category of travel package comprises of 1 star, 2 star, 3 star, 4 star and 5 star rated categories.
5. The method for travel planning as claimed in claim 1, wherein said sub modules comprises of hotel details, cruise details, train details, flight details and/or bus details for planning the entire travel.
6. The method for travel planning as claimed in any of the preceding claims wherein said user inputs passenger details in user machine, which are required for booking and are stored and auto recalled on subsequent login.
7. The method for travel planning as claimed in claims 1 to 6 wherein said booking is done by any of credit/debit card, cheque, draft and/or through internet banking means.
8. The method for travel planning as claimed in claims 1 to 7 wherein the said servers are connected to each other and/or users through LAN and/or WAN network.
9. The method as claimed in any preceding claim wherein said method further comprises online addition/deletion of itemized choices to/from a travel plan, prior to booking.
10. An interactive travel planning system providing integrated travel resources to
users, said system comprising, atleast a facility of servers, a means for storage of
data operatively associated to said servers, atleast one user machine for receiving
user inputs and a host machine located in user database for monitoring the overall

planning process, an input means selecting different search parameters and/or inserting a query by users, a means for matching said user input with said stored data present in the form of predetermined modules based on search criteria, a means for generation of results based on said matching data and repeating the process on various sub modules in said stored data, means for receiving passenger details and subsequent booking by the user.
11. The interactive travel planning system providing integrated travel resources to
users as claimed in claim 10, wherein the said servers are connected to each other
and/or users through LAN and/or WAN network.
12. The interactive travel planning system as claimed in claims 10 and 11
