DESC:CONTAINER AND CLOSURE SYSTEM FOR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to container for storage, particularly a kind of multifunction agriculture container as bottle, suitable for storage and measurable usage of agricultural products such as herbicides, insecticides or other regulated products. The invention provides a bottle for storage and measurable usage of agricultural products which provides a tamper proof, spill proof, drip-free, identifiable, cheap and reproducible solution. Further the invention provides a bottle which allows usage of accurate, controlled quantities of the agrochemical’s products.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The bottle is mainly made by materials such as polyethylene or polypropylene and with the addition of various organic solvents. Plastic bottle widely use polyester (PET), polyethylene (PE) such as HDPE or LDPE, polypropylene (PP). It is raw material, which after addition of corresponding organic solvent, is heated and then moulded by introducing hot, possibly molten, polymer into a correspondingly shaped (and appropriately dimensioned) cavity defined by a mould, causing the polymer to conform to the mould cavity and thereafter allowing the polymer to cool and solidify.

Agricultural chemicals, refers to chemicals for preventing, eliminating or controlling the disease of forestry, worm, grass and other harmful organisms and purposefully regulate, control, influence plant and harmful organism metabolism, growth, development, the chemical synthesis of reproductive process. In the narrow sense in agricultural production, to ensure, promoting the growth of plant and crops, agrochemicals are applied for sterilization, killing harmful animal or weeds.

In packaging industry, use of plastic material is desired and widely used as said packaging allows corrosion resistance, being light weight, attractive in appearance, and difficult to fragment. However, in the current agricultural chemicals market, a lot of product tampering is observed, wherein original and authentic products of the manufacturer are replaced by duplicate, harmful products by unlawful elements in order to earn illegal profits. The use of reusable caps or closures or seals carries the risk that any third Party may remove the cap, tamper with the contents of the container and reseal the container using re-sealable closure without arousing the suspicion of the end user. This severely damages the interests of the farmers, besides harming the industry and reputation of the producer.

In particular, in high-quality pourable and packaged in appropriate containers products, such as those sold in the agricultural sector, forgery is sometimes a considerable. Against this background, the present invention has the object to provide a container closure with features, which significantly complicate counterfeiting and thus can guarantee the originality of the corresponding packaged products to a better extent. It is particularly desirable that the end users are able to check container for evidence of tampering before opening the container. This ensures that the product is an original product and not a counterfeit product which has been tampered with by third parties.

Moreover, the plastic packaging bottles available in the art are not sturdy enough, which leads to improper sealing upon multiple usages, leading to chances of leakage of the product. Moreover, if the closing mechanism is not sturdy enough, there remains an inherent risk of spillage of the agrochemical, upon accidental fall of the bottle, which again can be extremely harmful for humans and livestock.

Further, when using agricultural chemicals, people need take out agricultural chemicals with dropper etc., or using rough estimates. This mode does not lead to accurate disbursal of agrochemicals. There remains an inherent risk of using too little or too much dose of the agrochemical which results either in less to no effect or causes wastage of the agrochemical.

Additionally, with similar visual appearance of the plastic packaging bottles, there always remain a chance of accidental inter mingling of the pesticides during usage by the farmers. The present invention aims to overcome the said challenge by providing the bottle with atleast one loop, which can be used for hanging a pamphlet for ease of identification while usage. Therefore there is a need in the art for an improved packaging container for agrochemicals, particularly in the form of bottle, which is tamper proof/tamper evident, spill proof, drip-free, identifiable, cheap and reproducible and provides means for measurement of the agrochemical.

So, according to the above-mentioned problem, the present invention provides a multifunction agriculture container which provides, sturdy, tamper proof/tamper evident, spill proof, drip-free, identifiable, cheap and reproducible container for storage of agrochemicals products which further allows measurable usage of the products.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION
A principal objective of the present invention is to provide a container for storage and measurable usage of the agrichemical products.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a tamper proof/tamper evident container with readily observable indications to the end user of any potential tampering.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a container having atleast one spill proof feature.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a container having atleast two tamper evident features which provide to an end user readily observable indications to distinguish between original product and tampered product.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a container having atleast one drip-free feature.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a tamper evident cap with readily observable indications which meanwhile is easy to commercialise.
