Converter And Power Conversion Device
Abstract: A converter is provided with: a converter circuit unit 11 for converting an AC voltage to a DC voltage said AC voltage being supplied from two systems that is the ? connection and Y connection of a 12 phase rectification transformer 2; a current detector 12 for detecting the DC bus current output from the converter circuit unit 11; and an imbalance detection unit 13 for detecting that an imbalance is occurring between the current output from the ? connection and the current output from the Y connection which are detected by the current detector 12. It is possible to detect the imbalance that has occurred between the current flowing through a diode bridge on the ? connection side and the current flowing through a diode bridge on the Y connection side.
