Converter Unit System And Converter Unit
Abstract: Provided is a converter unit system in which a plurality of converter units are connected in parallel. The converter units include: a converter circuit that is connected to an AC power source and a DC bus line; a first inrush current suppression resistor that is connected to the DC bus line; a first contactor that is connected in parallel to the first inrush current suppression resistor; a smoothing capacitor that is provided downstream of the first inrush current suppression resistor and the first contactor; a second contactor that outputs an ON signal or an OFF signal to the outside; a voltage detection unit that measures the DC voltage value at both ends of the smoothing capacitor; and a control unit that controls the first contactor and the second contactor on the basis of the DC voltage value detected by the voltage detection unit. The converter unit system also includes: a third contactor which is connected to the plurality of converter units and contact points of which are closed if all contact points of the second contactor of the plurality of converter units are closed; and a second inrush current suppression resistor that is connected in parallel to the third contactor.
