Abstract: The present invention relates to a Corynebacterium glutamicum variant having an improved L-lysine production ability, and a method for producing L-lysine by using same. The Corynebacterium glutamicum variant increases or enhances the expression of a gene encoding diaminopimelate decarboxylase, and thus can have a L-lysine production yield superior to that of a parental strain.
