Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a coupler with achieves high rigidity without increased thickness. This coupler is provided with: a base section (12); a pair of side sections (14 and 14) that continue from the end portions of the base section (12) in a first direction (D1) and extend to the same side toward a second direction (D2) perpendicular to the first direction (D1) each side section having a fastener hole (14H) at a center portion in a third direction (D3) perpendicular to both the first direction (D1) and the second direction (D2); and a closed section (16) that is formed as an extension region of the base section (12) and the pair of side sections (14 and 14) between the pair of side portions (14 and 14) and on at least one end portion in the third direction (D3).
