Abstract: ABSTRACT Current equalizer for stabilizing electrical fluctuations in vehicles The present invention relates to a current equalizer, a Rogerot, which stabilizes electrical fluctuations occurring in vehicles due to over current or under current and ensures that the vehicle battery has a steady charge and discharge flow. It eliminates the effects of voltage fluctuations in vehicles such that the electrical components of the vehicle including its battery can work efficiently for a longer period of time without any harm caused to them due to the voltage fluctuations. It has a designed PCB (5) having a plurality of resistors and capacitors which ensure that no fluctuations occur in the electrical components of the vehicle whenever there is a heavy load on the battery. It can be easily installed and maintained in all kinds of vehicles. Fig. 2
DESC:BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
Equalizers, also called harmonic equalizers, are electronic devices used to balance frequency
components of electronic signals. Equalizers used in electrical systems, such as battery
equalizers or power supply equalizers maintain balanced loads to prevent overcurrent and
potential damage to the system.
A modern vehicle has a plethora of electric components, all drawing power from the alternator to
the battery including headlights, LCD displays, audio system and an electronic control unit. The
vehicle’s battery also draws current from the alternator to power these components. When the
power drawn is low i.e. when audio and/or A.C. and/or headlights etc. are turned off, the extra
electricity is then used to charge the battery. However, when the power drawn is high i.e. when
audio and/or A.C. and/or headlights etc. are turned on, the traditional lead acetate battery cant

switch from charge to discharge rapidly enough. This causes voltage fluctuations for eg. a
vehicle’s headlight dims momentarily when the A.C. compressor starts.
Small scale voltage fluctuations do not cause direct harm to the vehicle or its engine. But they
shorten the life of the electrical components in the vehicle over a period of time. This is where
the use of current equalizer or stabilizer comes in. A current equalizer or stabilizer stabilizes the
electrical fluctuations and ensures that the battery has a steady charge and discharge flow. A
number of such current equalizers are available in the prior art.
JPH10313501 describes a grounding circuit for an electric car with almost no trouble of
induction at any time, regardless of connection structure between a car body and a chassis such
as pressure/absence of measures against electric erosion. A grounding brush 7 and a car body 9
are connected with a resistor 14. A harmonic current generated by switching an inverter 4 is
carried from the inverter circuit 4 to a path made up of a motor wire 11, a floating capacity 12 of
the motor, a motor frame 16, an equalizer 17, a grounding brush 7, a resistor 14, the body 9, a
body ground 3, an inverter box 22, a box ground 10, and a grounding switch 6. Thus, the
harmonic current is not passed to a main circuit wire 13. A variation in potential of the body 9
caused by a voltage drop in wiring inductance 18 related with the harmonic current can be
reduced, so that trouble of induction on a train wireless apparatus or a signal apparatus can be
prevented.
KR20080025946 discusses a car battery equalizer connection protection circuit to reduce power
consumption by supplying operation voltages of an alternator and an ABS system to two

batteries. A power control circuit for a vehicle comprises as follows. A first battery (20) stores a
first predetermined voltage. A second battery (30) is coupled to the first battery and stores a
second predetermined voltage. A power supply unit (10) supplies an alternating current (AC) on
the basis of the first and second voltages. A converter (40) outputs the first and second voltages.
The first and second switches (50,52) are coupled between the converter and the first and second
batteries. A constant current controller (60) outputs a first signal by comparing the current stored
in the converter with a predetermined value of a constant current. A constant voltage controller
(70) outputs a second signal by comparing the second voltage with the AC voltage. In addition, a
controller (80) outputs a control signal to the converter.

fluctuations in vehicles which ensures that the car battery has a steady charge and discharge flow.
Another object of the invention is to provide a current equalizer for stabilizing electrical
fluctuations in vehicles which increases the power and torque of the vehicle.Still another object
of the invention is to provide a current equalizer for stabilizing electrical fluctuations in vehicles
which provides clear audio and better headlamp clarity. Yet another object of the invention is to
provide a current equalizer for stabilizing electrical fluctuations in vehicles which increases the
battery life of the vehicle. A further object of the invention is to provide a current equalizer for
stabilizing electrical fluctuations in vehicles which can fit within all types of vehicles. A still

further object of the invention is to provide a current equalizer for stabilizing electrical
fluctuations in vehicles which is simple, easy to procure and use and maintain and is economical.
? SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention provides a current equalizer for stabilizing electrical fluctuations in
vehicles, a Rogerot, which stabilizes electrical fluctuations and ensures that the battery has a
steady charge and discharge flow. It has a designed PCB along with LED indicator lights,
capacitors and resistors which are installed in the outer box and wires with lug which are joined
with the PCB for installation on the battery terminal of the car. This current equalizer stabilizes
the electric fluctuations during high load and ensures that the vehicle’s electrical system has a
steady charge and discharge flow thus protecting the electrical components from any kind of
damage due to the fluctuations.

? DETAILED DESCRIPTION:
The nature of the invention and the manner in which it is performed is clearly described in the
specification. The invention has various components and they are clearly described in the
following pages of the complete specification.
A voltage stabilizer is an electrical device which delivers a constant voltage to a load at its output
terminals, regardless of the changes in the input or incoming supply voltage. It protects
equipment or machinery against over voltage, under voltage and other voltage surges. A
vehicle’s battery itself acts as a voltage stabilizer. In any vehicle, the electricity generated from
the alternator is sent to the battery and electrical devices according to the requirement. During
periods of low electrical consumption like when the headlights/audio/A.C. are switched off,
excess electricity generated by the alternator charges the battery rather than passing through the
system. But when the demand of the vehicle’s electrical system outweighs the amount of current
the alternator can generate, electricity is discharged from the battery in the amounts needed to
pick up the slack. Switching from charge to discharge rapidly to counter the small scale voltage
fluctuations is difficult for the traditional lead-acid battery. Thus arises the need for a current
equalizer.
The present invention provides a current equalizer for stabilizing electrical fluctuations in
vehicles which stabilizes the electrical fluctuations and ensures that the battery has a steady
charge and discharge flow. It comprises capacitor, resistor, designed PCB, LED light, wire with
clamp, lug and outer box.

Fig. 1 gives the drawing of the outer view of the current equalizer. As shown in the figure, the
outer box (1) has a LED light (2) arranged over it. The clamp (4) is joined to the outer box (1)
with the help of wire (3). Fig. 2 gives the drawing of the opened box of the current equalizer
displaying the PCB (5) while Fig. 3 gives the drawing of the PCB with a plurality of resistors
and capacitors displaying the complete circuit of the current equalizer of the present invention
which ensures that no fluctuations occur in the vehicle whenever there is heavy load on the
battery. Fig. 4 gives the drawing of the top view of the solder side of the PCB and Fig. 5 gives
the drawing of the bottom view of the solder side of the PCB.
In the present invention, the designed PCB along with the LED indicator light, capacitors and
resistors are installed in the outer box while the wires with lug are joined with the PCB for
installation on the battery terminal of the vehicle. The red wire is clamped on the positive
terminal of the battery while the black wire is clamped on the negative terminal of the battery. As
soon as the vehicle starts, the LED indicator on the device starts blinking, indicating that the
current equalizer has started functioning.
The Rogerot of the present invention is highly advantageous as it eliminates small scale electrical
fluctuations in the vehicle and provides a number of benefits. It increases the power and torque,
improves audio clarity, increases headlamp clarity and increases the battery life. As the vehicle’s
electrical system does not have to deal with small-scale electrical fluctuations, each component
can perform more efficiently for a longer period of time. Installing the present invention does not
have any side effects and does not harm any electrical components or systems of the vehicle. It

can be installed in all kinds of vehicles like two wheelers, three wheelers, all kinds of four
wheelers, commercial vehicles, buses, trucks etc. It is a universal product which can fit in all
makes and models of vehicles and is simple, easy and economical to be installed, worked and
maintained.
Although the preferred embodiment as well as the construction and use have been specifically
described, it should be understood that variations in the preferred embodiment could be achieved
by a person skilled in the art without departing from the spirit of the invention. The invention has
been described with reference to specific embodiments which are merely illustrative and not

electrical fluctuations occurring in vehicles and ensures that the vehicle battery has a steady
charge and discharge flow wherein the current equalizer comprises of capacitor, designed
PCB, LED light, wire with clamp, lug and outer box; wherein the LED light (2) is arranged
on the outer box (1) to which the clamp (4) is joined with the help of wire (3); and wherein
the designed PCB (5) has a plurality of resistors and capacitors which ensures that no
fluctuations occur in any electrical component of the vehicle whenever there is a heavy load
on the battery.
2. The current equalizer for stabilizing electrical fluctuations in vehicles as claimed in claim 1
wherein the wires with lug are joined with the PCB for its installation on the battery terminal
of the vehicle.
3. The current equalizer for stabilizing electrical fluctuations in vehicles as claimed in claim 1
wherein the red wire of the current equalizer is clamped on the positive terminal of the
battery while the black wire is clamped on the negative terminal of the battery.

wherein as soon as the vehicle starts, the LED indicator on the device starts blinking,
indicating that the current equalizer has started functioning.
