Abstract: A customizable virtual hospital platform system is an integrated software based on cloud or local server for the purpose of virtual delivering of healthcare services and education akin to physical hospital or medical/dental/ayurveda institution; Technically, the system comprises the service specific mobile applications, common web application, admin panel and server; All components are customizable and working together with the secured internet connection. All components can be leveraged with artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality, internet of things and blockchain technology; The platform is the solution of the problems like, geographically disproportionate healthcare providers, resources and services, lack of healthcare awareness and pandemic healthcare challenges; Particularly, this is useful tool for the digital management of patient consultations, second opinions, referrals, follow-ups, remote access of pathology labs, imaging centers, pharmacy outlets, nursing facility, healthcare product shops, continue doctor & patient education, ambulance services and healthcare insurance services through the single window platform.
The present invention relates generally to a system and process for a public to
10 avail all healthcare services including doctor-consultation (telemedicine), telehomeopathy, tele-ayurveda, tele-dentistry, online hospital appointment, telepathology, tele-radiology, tele-pharmacy, tele-ambulance, tele-nursing services,
tele-patient education, tele-healthcare education, online healthcare product
shopping through single window also called as virtual hospital. It allows the
15 healthcare providers (Doctors) to manage their online and offline patients, digital
management of referral among other specialty, management and tracking of
„follow-ups‟, update their specialty knowledge, and deliver healthcare education
to the patient through special modules. In addition, pathology labs, imaging
centers, pharmacy outlets, ambulance owners, freelance nursing and healthcare
20 product seller, insurance service providers can also deliver their services with this
integrated platform. The platform can be operated in all global vernacular
languages and is customizable in design and function as per industry demand.
Any hospital or/and an individual doctor, medical college, dental college,
ayurveda, homeopathy and unani institution can use this virtual hospital platform
25 for the management of their patients, staffs, healthcare providers or other added
healthcare services.
Description of related art
Health is the priority to every human after food, cloth and shelter. However,
current healthcare system is facing many problems like unequal distribution of
30 healthcare providers, services and infrastructure, limited availability of
specialized doctors, lack of public healthcare education & awareness, lack of
authentic healthcare information resource in vernacular languages and pandemic

5 challenges. Additionally, patient medical record management, security, storage
and interoperability are also big challenges. There is a dire need of equal
distribution of healthcare services, good patient education and awareness
platform, robust system for healthcare data management and storage and single
window based delivering of healthcare services.
10 In search of common solution to aforementioned problems, we have created a
virtual platform that will provide equal distribution of healthcare services
through virtual presence of doctors, self-learning patient education modules, real
time record and storage of healthcare data and digital integration of other
healthcare services. All services can be used by anyone, anytime and anywhere
15 irrespective of time and place.
Recently many factors inspired us to develop this multipurpose mobile and web
application, like restricted hospital visit due to pandemic challenges, legal
recognition of Telemedicine by government, emerging new technologies like
Artificial Intelligence, Internet of things, Augmented reality and Blockchain
20 technology, routine use of smart phones, availability of high-speed internet and
trends of tele-consultation.
Many people have begun to prefer online doctors for second opinion, follow up
and health education due to busy life style and other challenges. People also
seek security of data and want to avoid traveling to the hospitals and waiting
25 for their appointment. Moreover, many of us need healthcare education and
information in not just English but the language we speak.
The available prior arts are limited to telemedicine platform, virtual clinic,
virtual doctor and electronic healthcare record system and method. Basically,
most of these explain general flow of telemedicine system and methods, that is,
30 only regarding online consultation and examination of patients from remote.
Furthermore, the existing prior arts have many limitations. Firstly, no single
window digital platform simulates all healthcare services management like
consultation, patient education, health record storage, online/clinic visit patient
management and access of other healthcare services like pharmacy, imaging lab,

Secondly, all are video call and chat-based telemedicine platform and lack
videoconference concept. Thirdly, they lack option for offline patient
management. Fourthly, no patient in and out referral management module is
present. Fifthly, they lack inbuilt „continue medical education‟ module. Sixthly,
10 they lack family health wallet for whole family healthcare data management.
Till date there is no single customizable and integrated virtual hospital platform
akin to physical hospital services that comprises all healthcare services like
pharmacy, imaging lab, pathology lab, healthcare shops etc. No prior arts
declare patient and doctor education modules with their invention. No prior arts
15 have „family health wallet‟ for recording and sharing the patient data. No prior
arts leverage with all artificial intelligence, Augmented reality, Virtual reality,
Internet of Things and Blockchain technology.
Hence, the existing solutions are not comparable to our invention. Due to
aforementioned drawbacks, there is a dire need to develop a mobile and web20 based application that simulates physical hospital services and its smoothness
delivery.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The principal object of the present invention is to overcome existing
abovementioned limitation of the prior arts. Another object of the present
25 invention is to develop customizable virtual hospital to simulate the physical
hospital services. A further object of the present invention is to make it
customizable in nature so that it can be individualized as per demand of hospital
or particular specialty doctor. Another object of the present invention is to provide
a system that can be upgraded with available technologies (Artificial Intelligence,
30 Blockchain technology, Augmented reality, virtual reality, Internet Of things etc.)
and will able to „add on‟ features for future technology.
The objects of the present invention are provision of a single platform for online
and offline patient management; the patient education module and continued

and have option for add-on newer technology for optimizes the workflow
of whole system, like Block-chain technology for storage and security

the e-prescription, for analyzing the data, for text to voice and voice to text
functionality, Augmented reality (AR) and Virtual reality (VR) for patient
