Abstract: A cylindrical battery according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly; a battery housing for accommodating the electrode assembly through an opening; a first current collecting plate which includes a support part disposed in the electrode assembly, at least one first tab coupling part extending from the support part, and at least one housing coupling part extending from an end part of the first tab coupling part, and which is positioned in the battery housing; a second current collecting plate including an edge part disposed in the electrode assembly, a second tab coupling part extending inwardly from the edge part, and a terminal coupling part positioned to be spaced apart from the second tab coupling part; a cap plate for sealing the opening; and a battery terminal coupled to the terminal coupling part.
