Abstract: According to the present invention, each of a plurality of engines executes a data process. When one of the plurality of engines is acting as an execution engine and executing a data process, an engine selection unit (102) selects, from among the plurality of engines, a takeover engine that is to take over the execution of the ongoing data process being executed by the execution engine. An engine execution management unit (103) stops the execution engine from executing the ongoing data process, and causes the takeover engine to take over the execution of the ongoing data process.
