Data Processing Device And Data Processing Method
Abstract: This technology relates to a data processing device and a data processing method which enable streams to be processed adequately. An input stream configured from a plurality of packets is divided and a divided stream in a plurality of channels is generated said plurality of channels having set as a minimum unit thereof a base band frame (BBF) having arranged in a continuous sequence in a data field thereof to be subjected to forward error correction (FEC) the packets of the input stream. Furthermore the input stream is reconfigured from the divided stream in the plurality of channels. This technology is applicable to channel bonding (CB) technology in which an input stream is divided into a plurality of channels and transmitted.
