Abstract: DECISION MAKING METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR EDUCATING USERS ABSTRACT Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and system for an educational board based real estate management education wherein the education board may host and includes a plurality of players, wherein the plurality of players may be assigned for example to a pre-defined color of light on the education game board, for the purpose of identifying each of the players. In an embodiment, the education game board includes a plurality of profiles, wherein the plurality of profiles is associated with at least one player, and each profile amongst the plurality of profiles comprising a plurality of sub-profiles, each track includes a plurality of components, a plurality of options and a plurality of thresholds. Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] Embodiments of the present disclosure relates a method and system for decision making especially for educating users in a specific subject area and on multiple scenarios, and in some cases making decisions in employing the method and system as a game to educate users in various scenarios of the decision-making process given a specific field of study.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Generally, current methods for a user to learn on decision making are typically inadequate in providing the users with a comprehensive and engaging experience of learning and decision making, wherein users end up making faulty decision or take inappropriate actions, when applied to real life scenarios. Traditional approaches, lack the ability to offer accurate context, interactive and practical learning opportunities, thereby making users struggle to acquire necessary knowledge and skills required to navigate the complexities of decision making effectively. There is therefore a need to a solution to educate the user in decision making process and learning the decision-making process irrespective of the field of technology that the user may be interested in pursuing.

SUMMARY
[0003] Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and system for an educational board based real estate management education. In an embodiment, the education board may host and includes a plurality of players, wherein the plurality of players may be assigned for example to a pre-defined color of light on the education game board, for the purpose of identifying each of the players. In an embodiment, the education game board includes a plurality of profiles, wherein the plurality of profiles is associated with at least one player. In an embodiment, each profile amongst the plurality of profiles comprising a plurality of sub-profiles. For example, a profile may be employed, and sub-profile may be salaried, business, consulting etc. In an embodiment, the education game board includes a plurality of levels, wherein each level for example may be defined by a track or some other means. In an embodiment, the track includes a plurality of components, a plurality of options and a plurality of thresholds. In an embodiment, each of the plurality of players may be configured to traverse through the track at a first level before moving to the next level track.
[0004] In an embodiment, the education game board includes generating a first random number for each of the plurality of payers, wherein based on the random number each of the plurality of players being configured to traverse the track until the player reach a threshold on the track. In an embodiment, on reaching a threshold on the track, the players is promoted to the next level (next level track or upper track), wherein the player traverses the next level, until all the levels on the education game board are completed. In an embodiment, an outcome associated with each one of the plurality of players is determined and a decision may be made educating the player (user) of the outcome based on different decisions made while educating the user through a game-based education. Other embodiments with respect to the present disclosure are also disclosed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0012] The following describes technical solutions in exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the present disclosure with reference to the accompanying drawings. In this application as disclosed herein, “at least one” means one or more, and “a plurality of” means two or more. The term “and/or” describes an association relationship for describing associated objects and represents that three relationships may exist. For example, A and/or B may represent the following cases: Only A exists, both A and B exist, and only B exists, where A and B may be singular or plural. The character “/” usually indicates an “or” relationship between the associated objects. “At least one item (piece) of the following” or a similar expression thereof means any combination of the items, including any combination of singular items (piece) or plural items (pieces). For example, at least one item (piece) of a, b, or c may represent a, b, c, a and b, a and c, b and c, or a, b, and c, where a, b, and c each may be singular or plural.

[0018] Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure related to a method and a system for an educational board based real estate management education. In an exemplary embodiment, the education board (also referred to as game board or education game board) may host and/or includes a plurality of players. In an example embodiment, the plurality of players may be assigned for example to a pre-defined color of light on the education game board, for the purpose of identifying each of the players. It should be obvious to a person of ordinary skill in the art that other forms identifying a player may be incorporated and all such means of identifying a player on the game board or the education game board or the decision-making game board fall within the scope of the present disclosure.
[0019] In an example embodiment, the education game board includes a plurality of profiles, wherein the plurality of profiles is associated with at least one player from amongst the plurality of players. In an embodiment, each profile amongst the plurality of profiles comprising a plurality of sub-profiles. For example, in an exemplary embodiment, the profiles may be updated dynamically and included into certain levels of the decision-making game board by an authorized person. In an exemplary embodiment, a profile may be employed, and sub-profile under the profile employed may be salaried, business, consulting etc. In an embodiment, the education game board/decision-making game board includes a plurality of levels. In an embodiment, the plurality of levels may be decided by an expert in the field. In an exemplary embodiment, there may be three levels, or four levels and the number of levels may be dynamically constructed based on the expertise of the players. wherein each level for example may be defined by a track. It should be obvious to a person skilled in the art that other forms of representation of the levels may be possible and all such fall within the scope of the present disclosure.
[0020] In an exemplary embodiment, the track may include a plurality of components, a plurality of options and a plurality of thresholds. In an exemplary embodiment, each of the plurality of players may be configured to traverse through the track at a first level before moving to the next level track or a higher level until the decision is made on the education game board or the decision-making game board. In an embodiment, the education game board includes generating a first random number for each of the plurality of payers, wherein based on the random number each of the plurality of players being configured to traverse the track until the player reach a threshold on the track. In an embodiment, on reaching a threshold on the track, the players may be promoted to the next level (next level track or upper track), wherein the player traverses the next level, until all the levels on the education game board are completed. In an exemplary embodiment, an outcome associated with each one of the plurality of players is determined and a decision may be made educating the player (user) of the outcome based on different decisions made while educating the user through a game-based education.
[0021] In an exemplary embodiment, the game-based education is in a physical-digital-hybrid mode. In an exemplary embodiment, this means that the players may be physically present or may be remotely connected to the board or there may be a combination thereof. In an exemplary embodiment, the players may be located at the same location or may be a different location, wherein different locations may include different geographical locations. In an exemplary one or more of the players may be remotely located and may remotely connect to the education game board. In an exemplary embodiment, from amongst the plurality of players remotely located is connected by at least one of a wired means and/or a wireless means and/or a combination thereof to the game board.
[0022] In an exemplary embodiment, each player from amongst the plurality of players begins at a start location on the game board. In an exemplary embodiment, each of the plurality of players is initialized, wherein initialization may include selection of an initial profile for the player form a set of pre-defined profiles and a set of pre-defined sub-profiles. In an exemplary embodiment, if the player chooses a salaried profile then accordingly, under the salaried profile one of the designated sub-profiles may be assigned to the player. In an exemplary embodiment, an indicator may be provided on the game board to indicate to generate a random number for each of the player, wherein based on the random number either one of a component or an option or a threshold at a level from amongst the plurality of levels is assigned to the player.
[0023] In an exemplary embodiment, based on the random number or dice outcome: a fixed component is allocated at a second level, wherein the second level comprises a plurality of components, and the components includes at least one of an option, a threshold and a condition. In an exemplary embodiment, on meeting a threshold, at the second level, the player is moved to a third level, wherein the third level comprises at least one of a threshold or a condition. In an exemplary embodiment, the fixed component is an option, a condition related to the option must be execute before proceeding to the next component. In an exemplary embodiment, proceedings to the next component includes generating a random number to select a component. In an exemplary embodiment, the threshold is with or without a condition. before proceeding to the next level. In an exemplary embodiment, if the fixed component is a condition, execute the condition and move to repeating steps until a threshold is reached.
[0024] A further exemplary embodiment includes a method and system for supporting decision making within a specific environment, for example real – estate, and depending on the environment, the profile, sub profile, components, thresholds etc., will change accordingly. Each system may be stored in a repository and on selection of the type of system and the level of difficulty, an appropriate system is loaded and the users (also referred to as players) can educate themselves in the decision-making process. A further exemplary embodiment may include creating a plurality of profiles, each of a profile amongst the plurality profiles comprises a list of a plurality of sub profiles within the specific environment; A further embodiment may include initializing the profile from the plurality of profiles. A further exemplary embodiment may include providing each of the plurality of profiles with an option, wherein the option is selected from a set of pre-defined options at a first level, wherein the option provided is based on a first random number generated. In an exemplary embodiment, profile may be business and salaried, sub profiles is govt, non-govt, salaried etc., initial option if to buy insurance cards and so on and every player goes to the initial step of start here. A further exemplary embodiment may include generating a second random number, wherein the second random number allocates a fixed component to the profile in a second level, wherein the second level comprises a plurality of components, and the components comprising at least one of an option, a threshold and a condition. A further exemplary embodiment may include on meeting a threshold, at the second level, the profile is moved to a higher level, wherein the higher level comprises at least one of a threshold or a condition. A further exemplary embodiment may include moving to a next higher level on reaching a threshold at a current level. A further exemplary embodiment may include arriving at a decision leading to an outcome for the profile in the environment
[0025] In a further exemplary embodiment, each of the plurality of profiles relates to a profession. In a further exemplary embodiment, each of the plurality of sub-profiles relates to a plurality of pre-defined components. Ina further exemplary embodiment, the step of initialization may include selecting the profile and the sub-profile. In a further exemplary embodiment, if the fixed component is an option, a condition related to the option must be executed before proceeding to the next component in a given level. In further exemplary embodiment proceedings to the next component in the level may include generating a random number to select a component. In a further exemplary embodiment if the fixed component is a threshold, the threshold is executed, wherein the threshold is with or without a condition. before proceeding to a next higher level. In a further exemplary embodiment, if the fixed component is a condition, execute the condition.
[0026] Reference is now made to Figure 1A, which illustrates an exemplary method of selecting a field of technology wherein at least one user needs to make informed decisions in accordance with the embodiments of the present disclosure. In the exemplary case for purpose of illustration the technology area is chosen as real estate management and decision making for a user. It should be obvious to a person or ordinary skill in the art the same methodology may be used by users in other technology areas and all such variations fall within the scope of the present disclosure.
[0027] In step 110, a user is provided with a choice of choosing the technical area wherein the user would like to learn about the decision-making process or learn about a particular outcome based on the user choice, wherein various optional choices may be provided to the user. In step 120, the user navigates to select a technical area of choice in which the decision-making process needs to be studied or an outcome needs to be known based on the choices of the users.
[0028] Reference is now made to Figure 1B, which illustrates an exemplary method of building a board for educating the user on decision making related to the particular technology chosen in accordance with the embodiments of the present disclosure. In step 130 the user selects the technical area where the user needs to study decision making or needs a system to provide a decision on certain input that the user may choose. In step 140, the method fetches data from the repository depending on the technology area and builds a board wherein the users may educate themselves based on several parameters, such as components, options, thresholds etc., and a representation is made of the education game board wherein the user may be allowed to play the game to learn about the decision-making process in the particular technical field chosen. In step 130, based on the data available, and the complexity the user chooses, the game board will be built and provided to the user in real-time. Alternatively, pre-programmed game boards may be built by the expert for each technical area with varying degrees of complexity and may be provided to the user to select a game board to learn about the decision-making process. It should be obvious to a person skilled in the art that the input for the decision-making process may be dynamically built or may be pre-programmed and all such variations fall within the scope of the present disclosure.
[0029] In step 160, the system is continuously monitoring for new data in the forms of components, options and thresholds, and the data for components, options and thresholds may be dynamically updated in a repository, wherein an expert may classify the data and the level into which data qualifies and the data may be built into new models that may be dynamically built and provided to the user to learn the decision-making process. For example, during a particular decision-making process some new elements are determined, these may be referred to an expert and the expert may classify them accordingly such that these may or may not be introduced into the system based on the expert’s opinion. In a specific embodiment, the board may be pre-designed and provided to the user and new elements/data may be added on request by the user after an expert in the area vets the data.
[0030] Reference is now Figure 2, which illustrates an exemplary board for educating the user in accordance with the embodiments of the present disclosure. In this specific case, a education game board for educating the user on a decision making process related to real-estate management is provided. It should be obvious that the present real-estate game board is only exemplary in nature. It should be obvious that the game-board may be pre-built and provided to the user or may be dynamically built ibn real time based on the data in the repository and provided to the user, and all such variation fall within the scope of the present disclosure. In an embodiment, this becomes an innovative solution to provide real estate education and decision-making capabilities to user, who may not be experienced in this field of technology. In a further embodiment, the education game board can provide a native context and accommodate various geographical contexts. In an embodiment, the education game board may be completely digital based or a physical-hybrid board that may combine tangible experience with interactive elements. In an embodiment, the number of people/users playing the game to learn the decision making may be restricted, wherein the number of users must be at least two.
[0031] In the embodiment of Figure 2, a circular board is constructed. Components, options and thresholds are set by the expert in the field and the players can play the game to learn about the decision-making process related to a particular area of field of technology. For example, the profile can include people who are employed, which may be further categorized into salaried, contract pay etc., in business etc. Components may include for example investment options. For the education purpose the location of the city may be chosen, for example Bangalore or Mysore or any other destination city and the board can be updated accordingly when the board is dynamically built. If the board is pre-programmed, the components, options and thresholds are fixed and cannot change irrespective of the place.
[0032] In the exemplary case, the board has three level, wherein each level has certain components, options and thresholds. On reaching a threshold at a first level, the user may to the next upper level, and so on, until a decision is made.
[0033] Considering the circular board as an exemplary case for education of real estate decision making, in an exemplary case, certain rules may be set forth for each of the users playing on the education game board. For example, in the current scenario
1. Every player will have an LED near them and a Dice button indicating their turn.
2. Every player gets a token which represents them.
3. They will generate a random Number.
4. In that way, we will have a particular color for the board places.

[0034] The illustration above is only for a specific case of real estate management and it should be obvious that factors such as components, options and thresholds may change or vary depending for example on the city of choice and all such changes is factors fall within the scope of the present disclosure. Depending on the choice the parameters may change dynamically, for example the parameters used for the city Bangalore may not be the same as parameters used for a city Mysore or Mumbai. New inputs may be recorded by the system and provided to an expert to be built into the decision making process and the decision making tool such that over time a robust tool is built and users are capable of making an informed decision
[0035] Reference is now made to Figure 3, which illustrates an exemplary method of playing the education game in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. In step 310, the players are selected and there should be a minimum of at least 2 players to play the game board education. Each of the players will be provided with an identifier, for example a different colour light. Other identifiers may be possible, and all such variations fall within the scope of the present disclosure. Each user has a profile associated, and there are a plurality of profiles, wherein the plurality of profiles is associated with at least one the player, and each profile amongst the plurality of profiles comprising a plurality of sub-profiles. Each of the a plurality of levels, wherein each level being defined by a track, wherein the track comprises a plurality of components, a plurality of options and a plurality of thresholds, and each of the plurality of players configured to traverse through the track at a first level before moving to the next level. In step 320 Every player is tracked by means of the identifier associated with the player.
[0036] Reference is now made to Figure 4, which illustrates an exemplary method of playing the game and arriving at the decision. In step 410 first random number is generated for each of the plurality of payers, wherein based on the random number each of the plurality of players being configured to traverse the track until the player reach a threshold on the track. In step 420 the players more along the track in one level until the level is completed by a random number again being cast. In step 430 on reaching a threshold in the particular level, the players is promoted to the next level, wherein the player traverses the next level, until all the levels on the game board are completed. In step 440, the player (also referred to as interchangeably as user) traverses each level until determining an outcome associated with each one of the plurality of players. This way for each technical area and each specific environment the users may learn to make processional decisions.
[0037] In an embodiment, the users/players may be physically in the same location or may be remotely located and may be coupled to the main system by wired means, wireless means or a combination thereof. In an embodiment, the system may be a physical system or a digital system or a hybrid between the two. Each player from amongst the plurality of players begins at a start location on the game board, and each of the plurality of players is initialized. The initialization of the players includes selection of an initial profile for the player from a set of pre-defined profiles and a set of pre-defined sub-profiles. 1. A game board-based education for real estate management, the game board comprising:
- a plurality of players, wherein the plurality of players being assigned to a pre-defined color of light on the game board;
- the game board comprising:
o a plurality of profiles, wherein the plurality of profiles is associated with at least one the player, and each profile amongst the plurality of profiles comprising a plurality of sub-profiles;
o a plurality of levels, wherein each level being defined by a track, wherein the track comprises a plurality of components, a plurality of options and a plurality of thresholds, and each of the plurality of players configured to traverse through the track at a first level before moving to the next level;
o generating a first random number for each of the plurality of payers, wherein based on the random number each of the plurality of players being configured to traverse the track until the player reach a threshold on the track;
o on reaching a threshold, the players is promoted to the next level, wherein the player traverses the next level, until all the levels on the game board are completed; and
o determining an outcome associated with each one of the plurality of players.

2. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the game based education is in a physical-digital-hybrid mode.

3. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein at least one of the plurality of players is remotely located.

4. The method as claimed in claim 3, wherein the player from amongst the plurality of players remotely located is connected by at least one of a wired means and/or a wireless means and/or a combination thereof to the game board.

5. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein each player from amongst the plurality of players begins at a start location, and each of the plurality of players is initialized, wherein initialization comprises:
- selection of an initial profile for the player form a set of pre-defined profiles and a set of pre-defined sub-profiles.

The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein an indicator is provided on the game board to indicate to generate a random number for each of the player, wherein based on the random number either one of a component or an option or a threshold at a level from amongst the plurality of levels is assigned to the player.

7. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein based on the random number or dice outcome:
a fixed component is allocated at a second level, wherein the second level comprises a plurality of components, and the components comprising at least one of an option, a threshold and a condition.

8. The method as claimed in claim 7, wherein on meeting a threshold, at the second level, moving to a third level, wherein the third level comprises at least one of a threshold or a condition.

9. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein if the fixed component is an option, a condition related to the option must be execute before proceeding to the next component.

10. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein proceedings to the next component comprises generating a random number to select a component.

11. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein if the fixed component is a threshold, executing the threshold.

12. The method as claimed in claim 11, wherein the threshold is with or without a condition. before proceeding to the next level.

13. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein if the fixed component is a condition, execute the condition and move to repeating steps until a threshold is reached.

14. A method for supporting decision making within a specific environment, the method comprising:
a. creating a plurality of profiles, each of a profile amongst the plurality profiles comprises a list of a plurality of sub profiles within the specific environment;
b. initializing the profile from the plurality of profiles;
c. providing each of the plurality of profiles with an option, wherein the option is selected from a set of pre-defined options at a first level, wherein the option provided is based on a first random number generated;
d. generating a second random number, wherein the second random number allocates a fixed component to the profile in a second level, wherein the second level comprises a plurality of components, and the components comprising at least one of an option, a threshold and a condition;
e. on meeting a threshold, at the second level, the profile is moved to a higher level, wherein the higher level comprises at least one of a threshold or a condition;
f. moving to a next higher level on reaching a threshold at a current level;
g. arriving at a decision leading to an outcome for the profile in the environment

15. The method as claimed in claim 14, wherein each of the plurality of profiles relates to a profession.

16. The method as claimed in claim 14, wherein each of the plurality of sub-profiles relates to a plurality of pre-defined components.

17. The method as claimed in claim 14, wherein the step of initialization comprises: selecting the profile and the sub-profile.

18. The method as claimed in claim 14, wherein if the fixed component is an option, a condition related to the option must be executed before proceeding to the next component in each level.

19. The method as claimed in claim 14, wherein proceedings to the next component in the level comprises generating a random number to select a component.

20. The method as claimed in claim 14, wherein if the fixed component is a threshold, the threshold is executed.

21. The method as claimed in claim 20, wherein the threshold is with or without a condition. before proceeding to a next higher level.

22. The method as claimed in claim 14, wherein if the fixed component is a condition, execute the condition.

23. A system configured to execute the methods as claimed in any of the preceding claims 1-13.

24. A system configured to execute the methods as claimed in any of the preceding claims 14-22.
