Abstract: A defect type classification system comprises: a measurement unit which is connected to a battery for which a defect type is to be detected, and generates measurement data by measuring at least one of the electrical properties of the battery during a predetermined inspection period; a conversion unit which generates input data by converting the measurement data; and a defect type prediction module which machine-learns training data and determines the defect type of the battery on the basis of the input data. The input data is data suitable for an input node of the defect type prediction module, and the defect type may be distinguished according to the causes of a short-circuit defect in the battery.
