"Design And Development Of Metallic Angular Drilling Fixture For Drilling Angular Holes"
Abstract: This tool is made up of two sub-assemblies, i.e. Drilling Fixture with angular hole, LH (1) and RH (2) and Guided Bush LH (3) and RH (4). The tool, is used to facilitate angular drilling operation in aircraft frame. The tool is placed in the part and fixed in position with C-clamp (5) and the drilling operation is carried out. This invention reduces the lead time of drilling and increases the positional accuracy (Refer Figure-1 and Figure-5).
