Specification

DESC:Patent:- US7896609B2
Titled:- VERTICAL AXIS WIND TURBINE SYSTEM
Disclosure:- The cited document discloses a wind turbine with a plurality of wind vanes. The blades are constructed and attached to the shaft of the turbine so as to allow them to twist open to present more surface area to wind currents when a threshold rotational velocity is reached. The system comprises a base, standing in a vertical orientation, having a bottom end and a top end; a rotating shaft; a lower shaft; an upper shaft; a turbine comprising a plurality of blades formed from a curved 27-2012 air-foil.
Problem:- The cited invention discloses a wind turbine that has a pulsating torque produced during each revolution of the generator. The cited document encloses the concept of lift, and drag is used to provide spins to the turbine. The system possesses a significant amount of vibration at the point of revolution of the turbine. As swiftly as feasible, the devised turbines need to be at the spinning condition with full capacity for lessening the pulsing impact.
Solution:- The present invention uses double HSWL to dampen the vibration of the shaft. The upper end of the shaft is built using fabricated elastomers to provide further support to the generator. The present invention uses twisted helixes to sustain lower threshold velocity and start the turbine smoothly.
Patent:- JP2022108917
Titled:- VERTICAL AXIS WINDMILL
Disclosure:- The cited document relates to the design of a vertical-axis windmill comprising an overspeed suppression mechanism.
Problem:- The cited invention discloses a vertical-axis windmill comprising a movable arm for suppressing excessive rotation. The rotation suppression controller curtails the rotation of the windmill during high windy intervals. The design fails to account for the actual wind velocity and results in wasted GE.
Solution:- The present invention utilizes all aspects of wind velocity through its novel sweep and evolved helical structure. This present invention eliminates the need for additional wind deflection mechanisms by providing robust support to the system at the tip of the shaft. The twisted mechanism of the wind leaves in the present invention provides a fast method of extracting wind energy at any scale.
Patent:- CN216044159
Titled:- WIND-SOLAR INTEGRATED VERTICAL AXIS WIND TURBINE
Disclosure:- The cited document discloses a wind-solar integrated vertical-axis wind turbine that is used to reduce the wind speed requirement of the wind field for dense populations. The cited invention discloses a vertical shaft where the outer surface comprises a reflecting mirror and heat-absorbing pipes coated with a solar-absorbent coating. The system comprises drainage pipes provided at the lowest point of the reflector to prevent rainwater collection.
Problem:- The cited invention is suitable only in densely populated areas. The presence of solar coating increases the temperature of the system. A considerable amount of energy is wasted in the form of heat loss. The use of other external appliances, like drainage pipes, and heat-absorbent, increases the overall cost of the system.
Solution:- The present invention uses compact, low-cost, and energy-efficient solar modules that are installed on the branches of the modular tree. The present invention does not require any heat sink or separate drainage system for its operation. The present invention can be planted anywhere since the tree's branches are flexible and can be moved and adjusted as required. ,CLAIMS:We Claim:
1. A low-cost Double Helical Structured Wind Leaf (HSWL) module for harvesting green energy considering a net-zero emission environment. The present invention utilizes two major GE sources- (i) Wind and ii) Solar. The design is done using the modern concept of SE and translational motion and is 3D printed using cost-efficient lightweight PolyLacticAcid(PLA). The modular tree is of suitable height and is movable irrespective of any topography. The wind leaf and solar modules can track maximum power output by using the maximum power point tracking mechanism. The Direct Current (DC) generators used in the invention are placed on a rotating elongated metallic robust shaft to provide external support during gusts and storms. The system operates in all weather conditions and is shielded from any kind of wind curtailment and energy wastage. The present invention simplifies the process of electrical conversion as well via the development of compact, cost-effective converters and robust charge controllers.

2. A hybrid energy harvesting system is developed, as claimed in claim 1, wherein the system is implemented in a platform integrated with an inexpensive converter and charge-controller circuit.

3. A portable and adjustable modular tree is developed (as described in claim 1), wherein it easily fits any location as per the consumer’s requirement.

4. An artificial green energy generating system is developed, as claimed in claim 1, wherein the system replaces conventional energy systems and reduces the electricity tariff at the consumer end.
5. A hybrid energy harvesting system (as described in claim 1), wherein the residents of far-flung rural locations produce electricity for themselves.
