Design Encoded 4 D Printing Of Plastics For Programmable Shape Changes
Abstract: ABSTRACT “Grafted nanoparticle-polyamide desalination reverse osmosis membranes” The present disclosure relates to an ultra-selective thin-film composite polyamide membrane. The ultra-thin-film composite polyamide membranes are modified by attachment of thin layers of polymethylacrylate (PMA) grafted spherical silica particles (PMA-g-SiO2). The composite membrane has its application in desalination of brackish water to drinkable water by reverse osmosis process. This invention also relates to a method for producing the composite membrane which are modified with polymethylacrylate (PMA) grafted spherical silica particles (PMA-g-SiO2) layer. The invention also relates to a desalination method using the said membrane.
