Description:TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present disclosure relates to the field of display devices. More particularly, it relates to a detachable display assembly.

BACKGROUND
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present disclosure. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed disclosure, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] Closed group meetings or presentations aimed at a small audience often face challenge with single display screen associated with laptop or monitor of a personal computer for being inadequate to be viewed by all members of the group or meeting. It is also uncomfortable to turn the laptop or the monitor repeatedly for providing visuals to the host/presenter as well as the audience. Online meeting is an alternative that requires additional resources such as installation of application program, internet connectivity, power supply and computing devices allocated to each member of the group or meeting. On the other hand projection facility requires additional cost related to installation, maintenance and power requirements, apart from the disadvantage of limited portability of the projection set-up.
[0004] Therefore there is need in the art to develop a system for secondary or additional detachable display units that can provide a cost effective and portable solution to sharing of displayable content in small meetings. Existing literatures disclose detachable slave display device that can be attached back to back of a single screen laptop for viewing by a small group of audience sitting opposite to the presenter. Another back to back display has been disclosed that simultaneously replicates the display of the primary computing device. A movable, dual screen system comprising a secondary display unit connected to a primary computing device has also been disclosed, the secondary display unit being capable of performing functions of extended display and providing visuals to audience sitting face to face with the host. However, none of the disclosed literatures describe a completely detachable system having user interface for activation and deactivation of the secondary display unit. Unified electric power distribution architecture is also not disclosed in the prior-art.
[0005] The proposed system describes a detachable display assembly comprising one or more display screens that can be attached to any uniform surface including the back of a computing device, walls, desktop, table, back rest of a chair and the likes. The proposed assembly is configured to receive user inputs for controlling the functionalities of the display assembly. All elements of the proposed assembly are configured to receive electric power from a single architecture, without incurring additional cost. The assembly is completely portable and scalable.
