Detachable Mounting Bracket/Fixture For Maintaining Uniform Temperature Environment

Abstract: A detachable mounting Bracket/Fixture for thermal chamber has been developed. The said detachable Bracket/Fixture has the ventilation module (air blower) which circulates inside air of Thermal chamber into Unit under Test (UUT) for maintaining uniform temperature environment inside the UUT. The said detachable Bracket/Fixture is mounted on the inner side wall surface groove of the thermal chamber. The ventilation module (air blower) are mounted on a detachable support which is so constructed that both end of the detachable support can be hooked/slide over side edge groove of the thermal chamber wall. The detachable support with attached ventilation module (air blower) may be installed on / removed from the thermal chamber based on the requirement.

Fixture for providing uniform Temperature environment
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Generally chambers are used for performing Environmental related testing of
units used in extreme climatic conditions. Such testings are simulated within
the factory to assess the reliability of the system and to ensure error-free
workmanship.
Suitable arrangements are need to be made to adapt the existing stand
chambers of the requirement. Present such invention uses the standard
chamber for performing specific testing for which necessary arrangement are
designed.
This invention of detachable Ventilation module (air blower) mounting
arrangement used along with thermal chamber is applicable for the ESS
(Environmental stress screening) of UUTs which have a specific requirement
that the internal air of thermal chamber to be circulated through UUT
ventilation duct during ESS.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Accordingly, present invention provides a mounting or demounting
arrangement for the ventilation module (air blower) associated with thermal
chamber to circulate inside air of thermal chamber into the testing unit (UUT).
Another aspect of present invention is to allow mounting or demounting of the
ventilation module (air blower) into the thermal chamber whenever required

i.e. the same thermal chamber may be used for ESS of other units which do
not have the requirement of circulating inside air of thermal chamber into the
testing unit (UUT).
In this invention, the ventilation module (air blower) are mounted on a
detachable support which is so constructed that both end of the detachable
support can be hooked/slide over side wall grooves of the thermal chamber .
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Further objects and advantages of the invention will become apparent from
the following description taken in conjunction with the accompanying
drawings.

Fig. 3 is Complete Testing arrangement showing mounting bracket/fixture with
Ventilation module (air blower), UUT and Thermal Chamber.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
This invention relates to detachable mounting bracket/fixtures for thermal
chamber. The present invention provides detachable mounts for ventilation
module. Detachable mounting bracket/fixtures has advantage like if Drilling or
screwing is being done inside the wall of thermal chamber for fixing the
ventilation module (air blower) which circulates inside air of Thermal chamber
into Unit under Test (UUT) for maintaining uniform temperature environment

inside the UUT, then it will damage the insulation of thermal chamber and as
a result also affects the performance of the thermal chamber.
The said bracket/fixtures is rugged in construction and economical in cost. A
metallic net base was designed with specific provision for tightening the
ventilation module. The size of the bracket/ fixture is designed in such a way
that it is well fitted into one of the sliding slot available in the thermal chamber
(usually provided by manufacturer for partitioning of the space) for fixing the
ventilation module bracket/fixture.
The invention proceeds upon the principle of providing a horizontal platform
for ventilation module (air blower). It consists of welded metal strips having
integral arms extending according the length and breath of the thermal
chamber.
As shown in the drawings (Fig-1, Fig-2, Fig-3), the ventilation module
mounted on detachable bracket/fixtures which consists of four holes supports
ventilation module (VM) with the screws (S) and nuts (N). The mounting
bracket/fixture is made of the horizontal supporting plate/strip (P) which
extends substantially across the length & breaths of the thermal chamber.

Accordingly, the description of the present invention is to be considered as illustrative only and is for the purpose of teaching those skilled in the art of the best mode of carrying out the invention. The details may be varied substantially without departing from the spirit of the invention, and exclusive use of all modifications which are within the scope of the appended claims is reserved. We Claim
1. A Detachable Mounting Bracket/Fixture for ventilation module which circulates inside air of Thermal chamber into Unit under Test (UUT) without modifying original design of Thermal Chamber (as described in fig-1, fig-2 & fig-3).
2. This detachable Mounting Bracket/Fixture for ventilation module in such a way so it can be slide over the groove available in thermal chamber.
3. The said invention is light, compact and is cost effective.
4. The said invention has provision for routing atleast one wire for arranging necessary power supply for Unit Under Test.
5. The said invention is capable of bearing vibrations generated by a cooling arrangement. ,TagSPECI:As per Annexure-II
